Try not to be too down about it, I know it's easy to say but difficult to do. As you're in target can you not just go to get weighed every 2-3 weeks and stick to plan in between? Although I go most weeks I don't always weigh - I just go to meet up with friends I've made at group.

I am thinking about stopping going every week. I'm on the social team although Im supposed to hover talking to people and I'm not able to do that at the moment due to an injured foot. It's the only social interaction I have at the moment but while my MH is so lousy maybe it's worth having a a week or two off x

    Hiya

DH and I enjoyed our green day yesterday - it was a treat to have an extra HEB, we had some toast for supper, something we've hardly eaten since we started SW. One thing I'd forgotten was that you can have 2 HEAs as well - thanks for the reminder whoever it was!- if I'd known that we would have had cheese spread instead of butter and saved the syns. No wine syns yesterday though so we had some to spare and it was yummy.

We're having chicken fajitas today and as each tortilla is one HEB we're making today a red day so we can have 2. I'll also have cheese with them, using up the HEA. We had eggs, ham, mushrooms and tomatoes for breakfast and so far neither of us is hungry so might skip lunch and just have a banana.

DH and I gave up alcohol for the whole of October and as we tend to share a bottle of wine every night (more than we should, I know :o) we expected to see a difference in our weight, but we didn't! We drank tea and coffee instead and I didn't think we changed our eating habits, so as wine is supposed to be full of calories, it puzzles me.

    Stay positive!

  • Another 1.5lb off this week even though I was trying to maintain. Think it'll take a bit of getting used to! I'd prefer to be minus three lbs before Xmas as we are away between Xmas and New Year.

Probably won't post again before then - so Happy Xmas and all the best for 2015 to everyone.

Hi b-e-g - well done for getting your five stone award, that's an amazing achievement in nine months! Are you nearly at target?

    LL :)

Oh how I wish Lois - unfortunately I am in it for the long haul as I could probably to with losing as much again :o. Trying not to think that far ahead yet though. At times I think if I was a comfortable size 14 - but I don't know what weight that will be - only time will tell. :D

Well done losers and hugs to stsers and gainers.

Off to friend's gd nativity play tonight so looking forward to that. The last time I went to a nativity when DS played Joseph when he had just started primary school (28 now) so its quite a while ago.

Just had a bowl of mixed fruit and ff yog to stave off the hunger pangs and rumbling tum.

This recipe was on Facebook and I thought it could easily be adaptable for SW:

    Cheesy Cauliflower Patties

    1 head cauliflower
    2 large eggs
    1/2 c cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 c panko (found in the bread crumb aisle, healthier option)
1/2 t cayenne pepper (more of less to taste)
    salt
    olive oil

Cut cauliflower into florets & cook in boiling water until tender about 10 minutes. Drain. Mash the cauliflower while still warm. Stir cheese, eggs, panko, cayenne & salt to taste.

Coat the bottom of a griddle or skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat. Form the cauliflower mixture into patties about 3 inches across. Cook until golden brown & set, about 3 minutes per side. Keep each batch warm in the oven while you cook the rest.

I'm guessing 'c' means cup, it must be a US recipe, but that could be HEA. And panko must be some kind of crumb, I'd try without any or use some wholemeal breadcrumbs.

There's a picture too - can someone remind me how you put pics on here?
