I got a 1lb loss tonight :D So the elusive 3.5 stone award is now mine :j

BUT ladies, the sticker I got was not shiny. It was white, not like any of the others I've got. Are they changing their stickers, because if so I predict a riot. How can I get a shiny if they aren't shiny

Well done on your 3.5 st shiney Crabapple :T Just checked my shineys and my 3.5 one is shiney blue (got it beginning of September).
    Evening all
    AWOL again :(
Lost 2.5lbs tonight (2 weeks loss) as I was poorly last week
Just a measly .5lb away from my next big shiney (6stones)
It will be mine next week
Well done to losers and maintainers, hugs to gainers and those that need them
    Be back soon xxxxxx

Great loss Annie. Hope you are feeling better this week. I wont say that the 6st shiney will be yours next week as people did that to me last week and I bloomin sts but my fingers are crossed for you (ssshhhhh)

    Well done losers!!!

Hope the mouth is getting better Meg!

Mrs Ryan have you decided what you are going to do about group? I am also different on all scales but as long as they all say beneath 11 stone I'm happy. If you look at it whatever you started at SW you at least know on those scales you have lost x amount. As Mildredd says use them as a guide.

Topgirl are you still with us?

Maman I meant to say I thought of you at the weekend! My Lidl have started doing a 200g pack of little individually wrapped chocolates 12.5 g. I was delighted to find these as its means I can exert some portion control as I have none when I buy the 200g bar. Also they are all different flavours and lovely - so even better!!

Well done to all the losers and hugs to those who had STS or gained.

Glad I'm not weighing this week as went over syns again yesterday - I seem to be in holiday mode already and we're not going away until tomorrow afternoon! Will try to do better today - at the moment I haven't got any syns planned but don't really have anything too synful left and won't be going shopping again until after our long weekend away!

    Another EE day today:

B - scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast (eggs on one bit; mushrooms on the other!)
L - baked beans on toast; side salad
D - Striploin steak, SW chips, onions & mushrooms.

A bit short on SFs but don't think there'll be enough salad left to have this evening as well.

    Morning all

Yesterday was a strange day, we had a red day to avoid overdoing the carbs and only had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was ham, scrambled egg and tomatoes, which filled us up so well we weren't hungry for the rest of the day and didn't have anything except fruit until we had dinner.

It's Christmas dinner day today and I'm not planning to eat anything until then (we eat at 2.00 so I doubt I'll fade away before then). DH has had a banana as his stomach was rumbling loudly!

I've volunteered to drive today so I'll be on diet soft drinks while we're out but might have a few wine syns later. ;)

Mrs_Ryan - do you really need to go to group? I find this thread is a good way to focus on the target, and it's free. Knowing you're going to step on the scales at group does tend to stop you eating things you don't need, but it seems to me that it causes you stress and you could probably do without it. You could also set yourself a new target without having to worry about the cost. Just a thought.

Well done to the losers, commiserations to anyone struggling.

    Have a good day.

  • +1/2lbNot doing too well am I? Will keep at it and try even harder this week
  • Our consultant told us there was going to be exciting news next week that will really help speed up our loss and some changes that she was going to give us. Any one know what this is all about? Are they changing the plan?
She was giddy about it and it can't be the ready meals cos we already know about those. Probably a new flavour of hifi or something rubbish like that.

I also heard that they are changing the plan in January something to do with getting rid of superfrees or something. No idea I'm a real stick in the mud and hate it when things change!!

So am I. If I don't have super frees I'll never lose! A brief trawl of the net says they are scrapping red/green and giving 2hea and 2heb.
I expect we will find out soon enough.

    Hi Lois
I really only go to group for the social aspect. As some people on here know I have severe anxiety and depressive disorder which means a lot of the week I stay indoors with the curtains closed and don't speak to anyone or go out anywhere. Going to group is my lifeline in that sense- when I joined I hadn't left the house at all in two weeks and if it weren't for going to group probably wouldn't leave the house at all and would gain very quickly. I need the discipline but just get too stressed easily. I think a lot of that is down to my MH problems.
