    Welcome Vveronika,
you will find all of us a grand bunch. There is always some one on here to help and encourage you. :T

    Exactly what she said.;)

:T on starting SW NOW rather than waiting until the new year LL. OK so most of us will probably have a gain over Christmas but better that we start from a lower point. The SC sauces are probably just a marketing ploy, I'm sure you're right about the ingredients but the curry one is completely free whereas other mixes can be 4/5 syns per pack.

mumoftwo, I know denise often mixes up her days and so does wiz. There's obviously the benefit of the extra HEXs but also the fact that you don't have to have the third of SFs on red and green (although personally I prefer to have them anyway). I think if you're a vegetarian then there's no point doing EE but it seems that lots of consultants don't explain that.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk, 2 fried eggs
L: not sure, I'll be out so depends if I get hungry. I might snack on some chicken.
D: roast beef, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots, cauli, broccoli
    Syns: squirt of HP, gravy

Football for me later so obligatory shared Crunchie with my coffee at half time and hope I have something to celebrate later with weekend wine syns.:D

    Anyone help with Syns please?

Schwartz flavour shots - Indian mild masala curry. Got it from Tesco but now it's not showing online. It's bound to be high as in oil (didn't realise when bought it, was on offer :D) but serves 4 apparently. Tiny pot though.
    Thanks in advance x

I think the curry ones are 3.5 syns a pack maman but serves 4 so not too bad.

    Welcome aboard vveronika :hello:

Well done to the losers. :T

TIE - afraid to say the flavour shots Masala is 16 syns per pot  but again once its divided up it might not be too bad.

Bought a huge chunk of rump from Mr A's today (3.97 per kg) - xmas meat sorted. Might cook it overnight in SC.

    Hi all
Know what you mean about the veggie thing. I know of someone who was veggie but only got told about EE and couldn't lose at all. I know about green and do have the odd green day here and there- my consultant did try to discourage me but I did it anyway. I eat very little meat but I don't do green often as I find 2 HEXB's for me are the route to a sure fire gain. I struggle to get my HEXA's in as well- I don't drink massive amounts of tea/coffee (1 per day usually and even then not always) I have Laughing Cow Light triangles in jacket spuds, on Scan Bran and in pasta. I don't have milk on my cereal (I prefer using yoghurt) and like the odd cup of milk but often I don't get HEXA's in beyond a splash of milk in my coffee.
And just to add that big spend yesterday included a large bottle of fabric softener, a large pack of kitchen rolls, 2 large packs of tissues, Sudafed and vapour rub which are things we obviously don't buy every week. Usual spend is about £25 less. OH pays and he won't entertain Aldi/Lidl or any budget brands- he has to have branded everything  all my tinned stuff bar my tomatoes was Asda Smartprice which he tells me off for but I prefer the cheap stuff. However unfortunately while he's paying I basically have to listen to what he wants so there's not much chance of it reducing by much anytime soon!
    Today's menu plan:
B: SW fry-up- bacon minus fat, Linda McCartney Rosemary and red onion sausages, 2 fried eggs,(all cooked with FryLight) spaghetti hoops, HEXB Scan Bran with 1/2 HEXA laughing cow light. Pint of NAS, cup of green tea
L: Chicken salad with a packet of Baked Stars (4.5 syns) Freddo popping candy (4.5 syns) Can of caffeine free Diet Pepsi
T: Quorn fillets, tinned tomatoes, steamed mixed veg, Uncle Ben's Thai Chilli Rice (1.5 syns) Fresh strawberries and cherries with 0% Activia, more NAS
S: Tuna and beans, more NAS
    Syns: 10.5
    Body magic: 3.7 mile walk
    Hope everyone's ok xx

Thanks for that beg. I don't know where I got the idea it was free from. With added veg, I got 6 portions from it so less than 1 syn per serving.

We had some of that beef tonight and very flavoursome it was too. I bought a large chunk and cut it into smaller portions for roasts. I still enjoy my turkey at Christmas.

How infuriating that your OH won't have anything but branded MrsR, seems like an incredible waste of money. But his money, his choice I suppose?

:T on your loss and hope your tummy bug is over now flutterby, and sending you a big hug tie.

I didn't have lunch in the end just snacked on a banana. Just had roast and I'm feeling stuffed!
