Morning, had a busy week with work. I STS this week. I'm disappointed, but so relieved not to have gained after going very off plan at the weekend. But I did try hard through the week.
I was out for a family meal yesterday. It was difficult as it was a set menu. I tried to make some good choices, I avoided pudding and had a very small slice of birthday cake with black coffee.
Today I'm planning
Brekkie- grapefruit segments, yoghurt
Lunch- cheese sandwich, fruit
Tea- teriyaki salmon with stir fry veg and noodles
Snacks,,lots of fruit
Syns- a kit Kat
We are planning to put the Christmas tree up today. We are too busy the next few weekends, so that should keep me occupied x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Totally off plan yesterday.

Morning
Had a pleasant evening at the race night, I made a profit, and thoroughly enjoyed my mince pie although it wasn't particularly big - not 13.5 syns worth by any stretch of the imagination. I had wine syns too so they were flexible.
Today I've had fruit and yogurt for breakfast, haven't decided on lunch yet - I fancy a 'fry up' but I'd need to go and buy bacon so maybe I'll see what we've got in the fridge already. Dinner will be chicken curry. I've got a jar of curry sauce in, but I might have a search for a syn free recipe. Not the one I did last time, although I could adapt it to add some colour.
Beanie - STEP AWAY FROM THE CHOCOLATE!
I'm so glad I haven't got all the temptations of Christmas goodies that I would have if we were at home. There are Spanish treats in the shops but they dont have the same appeal as the stuff in British shops. One of the biggest sellers here are huge legs of cured pork and the area of the shop they're in just reeks of fat, it turns my stomach.
Anyway, better get on, it's nearly midday and I've done nothing!
Have a good day.

Thanks for the advice dear friends, you gave me a lot to think about.
I feel bad for all the other genuine Christians out there, as yes, she is a dreadful advert for her religion.
As for my relationship with Dad, well, it's complicated. We were VERY close when I was little. Then all 'that' happened and it broke everything. We did try some glue to put the pieces back together, but you can still see the cracks quite badly. And 'she' picks at it all the time so that doesn't help.
We have had a private chat once where I told him how I felt, but he pretty much thinks it was a LONG time ago, and I shouldn't keep hating her. He has admitted he made a mistake, but he made his bed so he's lying in it. He said we just have to get over it and get on. He sort of said I should not question him as he's my Dad and I make things difficult for him if I won't 'play the game'. The trouble is, I am VERY childish, and I won't 'play the game' at all. My sister does, because she is very grown up and mature about things, but I'm holding on tight to that grudge. I can't, no won't, pretend that she is a nice person, and that it's all ok, because she isn't and it isn't.
So, on reflection, I think I shall write a polite letter, certainly the food bank idea is BRILLIANT so I will mention that. It would be sad to lose friends with my Dad completely, but he has behaved quite badly towards me over the years, and other family members think I owe him nothing so I don't think I have much to lose. I think I lost that along time ago. Well, not so much lost it, more like someone else took it away.
Anyway, I shall think some more. Thank you my friends

Afternoon all.
I think my cold is going.. Yay! Blimey the cost of staying on plan is going up again... Just did shopping with OH and it set him back £153 for a week  stocked up on tins etc though so should be good for a while. Think I'm getting a water infection as well so drinking loads to try and flush it out. Have bought some green tea as well as someone at group was saying it's supposed to speed up metabolism? Am desperate now- will try anything!!
Here's today's food plan while I wait for my tea to infuse.

Sorry to hear of the way your family have had to suffer such meaness Frogga it's hard to imagine, but you've kept yourself from being dragged into the same frame of mind towards her, so well done. Megs/B]advise sounds so wise, don't cut your dad off even if you don't see him much, you never know what the future holds, and he is your dad, one day he might not have her to control him.
Well done all who have lost this week, and hugs to those who have stayed the same or put on:)
Did anyone get any fantastic bargains on Black Friday?0
