I meant to say annie that you're an absolute star keeping up with SW through Ofsted.:T

Hubby has abandoned SW now. Just eating what he wants when he wants saying he cannot face any more SW meals. I never asked him to do it with me anyway, although he did and still does need to lose weight but he is making me feel like I forced him to do it. Grrr men!

I am considering banning all take aways in December and stuffing us with super healthy filling grub :)

I'm confused tazzy, what is it your DH wants to eat? Like lush says it's so easy to really fill up on super healthy stuff. We had your savoury mince recipe last week and my DH was lapping it up. I know he'd like the odd pie or two but he can order that when we're out if he's desperate.

My DH would like to lose a few pounds off his waistline although he's looking much trimmer since I started SW. Basically he eats either the same breakfast as me or (as he doesn't eat eggs) he has muesli with loads of fruit. It's not a HEB muesli bit could be worse. He has exactly the same supper. It's lunch where we go our separate ways. I have SW friendly but he generally has a sandwich and cake/biscuits. So overall I keep him quite healthy.

That's the same as my DH - although he also has SW friendly lunch if there are any leftovers he can take to work!

His extras tend to be when he comes in from work he usually has a cheese sandwich and/or a bag of crisps!

He'd also like some pies but generally when we go out he goes for fish & chips because my homemade fish and chips are done SW way and he likes his deep fried battered fish & chips!

Not sure what I'm having for breakfast and lunch yet so will come back later once I've sorted out today's plan!

Lush, hope your neck gets better soon, it is a horrible thing to have, all your movements are restricted and it hurts.

Shala, thanks for the chart, looking good.

Meg, you look fab and skinny, good idea to have your picture taken at goal, will have to remember that for the future

better get on, busy day ahead. Have a good one
  • Morning all,

terrible night with wonder bairn, going to change tactics tonight and go back to a set routine every night (she has a routine but we have got a bit slack) making sure we put her down awake but drowsy rather than fast asleep etc

waiting for the docs to open so I can call and make an appointment for wonder bairn about a rash she has and one for me about my neck. Also need to go to the post office and tesco! Then after that I may get some sleep when wonder bairn has an afternoon nap...maybe

    Anyhoo...today:

Breakfast: dolce gusto skinny cap (2.5 syn i believe) plus ready brek (in place of HeB made with milk from HeA) banana
lunch: slices of ham rolledup with spinach, apple
Tea: savoury mince (6.5 as we make it with minestrone soup) added veg and mash for me

naughty post off-the-rails-weekend weigh says gain :( slightly more down now so that was a bad idea...ho hum here we go for another week

D - Spanish rice with chicken & chorizo (1 syn for 12.5g of chorizo)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread

Good.morning, it's not a good one for me.. I have stayed the same ,again.:(
This is very very frustrating I am not getting any nearer:mad:
Just another stone and a half will do it. But NO it's not happening.

    I feel better, I look a bit better,and I know I am eating well.
My diabetes has never been better, so, I shouldn't really grumble.
But I would love to have, just once , a three or a four pound loss. It's not asking too much. When I look at some posts I am soo jealous.
I will keep plodding for a while longer and see what happens.:)

Wizkid - Do keep going, don't give up - its frustrating I know but its not a race and you will definitely get there in the end, concentrate on the positives the scales will shift eventually.

Good news about the diabetes and feeling and looking much better. These are the important things not the numbers on the scale.

Now if I could only apply some happiness to myself. Still in rubbish form.

On a half hearted clawback now from the weekend, lasagne, garlic chips, sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, chocolate, wine.

Don't think I even care this week my mood is that poor and I'll probably throw away getting to target again this week just because I'm in bad form.

Oh Mildredd - You will not give up, quite simply I will not let you!!

Shala - Did you eat the celeriac??

Mrs Ryan - How you hanging this week??

Oh how frustrating wiz. Every Monday I really hope you're going to get good news. The health benefits are great but I'm perplexed why you don't lose. Have you asked GP about it? Keep Plodding (said in same tone as Keep Dancing;)).

I've not had smilies working properly since we went on to Windows 8 denise. I can only get them by copy/paste. Maybe someone more technically savvy can advise.

I think we're likely to have a lot of off plan things in the coming month or so. By 'we' I mean all of us on here. I'm on plan today and tomorrow then out for lunch two days running. All we can do is do our best. Chin up ladies!!

    EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: not sure (feel full from breakfast) but probably JP
D: Szechuan beef (inc mushrooms, peppers, beansprouts) with noodles
Syns: squirt of syrup, some in noodles (Aldi straight to wok) and tsp of cornflour (shared) in sauce

    hello

I think tweets has posted a couple of times about to fix smilies.. I can't find the posts but i'm sure she'll be a long soon and may post again.

lantanna - no we didn't eat the celeriac, could decide how too and now it's gone off. I think someone must have had it their cupboard for quite a while then decided to donate to the veg box:mad:.. i'd always put fresh veg/fruit in the box, but that's just me..

Sorry to hear you're not on form this week... x

mumoftwo - can't wait to see some food p*rn - can't see it at work - i keep forgetting to take pictures and i'm usually half way through eating it by the time i remember :rotfl:

Hope you get some sleepy time lush!

So extra easy for me today
    B - banana, coconut yogurt (1)
L - potato skins, salad, pickles
T - bbq pork lasagne(hea), pineapple, coconut quark, small grating of choc (1)
    S - crisps (5)

No Heb yet, so may have an alpen/hifi later or something
