I don't think there are set 'rules' about it on SW but IMO it's better to have your SFs as veg rather than too much fruit. I'd even go as far as to say, as a general rule, that veg that grows above the ground like leafy things is preferable to root veg which can be a bit carb heavy. I think what really matters is that you have variety and you're certainly doing that! My reasoning on fruit is that sugar is sugar however 'natural'

I agree with this - years ago I used to go to Weight Watchers and I remember having to count fruit in my points.

I see it's different now its free too (probably 'copying' SW)

Can't remember how to do quotes

Hi, back from another Uni Interview day, but feel much more positive this time. It was another buffet lunch, I stuck to only one plate of food, only had one piece of cake, so don't feel as if I've missed out on a treat. At coffee time I had a banana instead of caving in to the biscuits :A and when I got home I had cheese on toast for tea as didn't feel like cooking much. The important thing is although I was still over syns I felt much more in control.

Wiz & Beannie I too am in the 'over 50's' catagory and on the scenic route. I agree Wiz it would be lovely to have a 3-4lb loss just once, but I've heard the slower it comes off the more likely it is to stay off.

Thanks Tweets for the instructions for getting smilies back:D. Seems to have worked but putting code in automatically rather than the actual smiley!
