I fear I've just scuppered all my good work so far. I blame my OH lol. He was away for the weekend. And I couldn't stay away from the wine and the jalapeño poppers I had in the freezer for Xmas nibbles, then the numerous packets of Velvet crunch :-( once I started it was like opening a flood gate.

To try and save it, I am back on it today. I love SW and love feeling in control and wanting to lose to feel good at class. But as the weekends approach I'm finding it hard to get out of bad habits. I will need to stick to 5 syns a day until Thursday (WI ) to try and make up for it. I need to still have those 5 syns or else I will get fed up and end up totally off plan.

    Today I am having

    Brekkie- fruit and yoghurt
Lunch- cheese omelette with peppers, sweetcorn, onion and mushrooms
Tea- slow cooked gammon in diet coke, SW wedges, poached egg and broccoli.
    Heb- Hifi bar

Syns- bertolli spray oil (1) mini flapjack with my cuppa (4)

    morning,

the rain has finally stopped (for the moment) was getting quite down, seeing rain every morning.

Goal: to have a perfect Sunday eating wise.

    menu: fruit and yogurt
soup (creamy sweetcorn chowder, not made it before) and a roll
something with chicken breast, not sure what yet.

    Enjoy your day

    Still raining here.:(

CP, there's a chance yesterday's melt down won't show up on the scales yet. Try and just put it behind you and plod on.

nic, you're sensible to plan your syns out like that. I'm fortunate in that I've never been a snacker so provided I plan my low syn/syn free meals for the week then I can cope. What would make me give up is getting to the weekend and not being able to treat myself.

crabapple, what a star your OH is! He deserves a shiny himself for being so supportive.:)

I like the idea of the Spanish Christmas lois. We'll be having a good time but one thing I wont be doing is going OTT buying tat. There's too much of it about at this time of the year.

I've portioned out and frozen the burgers I made yesterday. That's 16 of them ready for future meals. I make them about 90g each so that I could have one on a Green day if I wanted.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk
L: LOs (gammon, fried veg, pickles)
D: roast beef, SW roasties and parsnips, cauli, cabbage, broccoli, carrots
Syns: scrape of spread, squirt of HP, gravy and tsp of horseradish and weekend wine:j

    Hello everyone
Sorry about being AWOL (again) we have had the dreaded OFSTED in plus I joined a new running group. Busy busy busy
But I've managed to stick to plan, even went to see a band last night, I drove and stuck with sparkling water all night ( polishing halo as I type) lol
    Welcome any newbies:hello:
Amazing losses this week, what a fab lot you all are:j
Hugs to those who are struggling, sometimes you need to step away, refocus and make choices that are right for you at the time

Used halo this morning to make mushroom and ham omelette which I had with beans, made soup in slow cooker yesterday so will have that for lunch/dinner, snacks will be fruit and syns will be a glass of wine later on
Happy Sunday everyone, off to do some stitching

me too.. I usually volunteer to work, always glad when its over and done with!

agree with that annie I took time out from SW earlier this year.. I was kidding myself I was sticking to it and ended up feeling worse than ever.. still took me some time to get back into things properly.. that lasted the best part of the year.. things are finally starting to move again, thankfully!

been nice and bright up here in manchester too.. had every intention of going out for a walk.. but ended up sat on my backside!.. need to get more active and tone up a little now..

had a little non scale victory.. kind of.. got into my size 12 jeans that i'd bought for when at target.. just need to be able to do them up without lying down and a lot of huffing and puffing :rotfl:

Problem is, I seem to have a LOT of meltdowns :rotfl:

Anyway, been to Mr T's and the scales were broken!! Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. No idea where I should get weighed now coz I like to use the same scales :o

  • Thanks all for the well wishes.

Feeling better today and have managed to eat food other than toast. Sadly not all SW friendly as we were out of a lot of stuff. Had scrambled egg on white toast (the wholemeal was furry!) 8syns, and cheese (hea x2) on crackers with salad. 2 syns for pickle. Family dinner with OH and kids is meant to be wraps filled with veggies (and chicken for them) but I don't think I feel like eating again.

Well my xmas shopping didn't quite go to plan.. instead of getting xmas presents I ended up getting loads of stuff for myself :o

Popped into Lakeland to check on their flavourings as the last ones were a bit of a disaster - got this one http://www.lakeland.co.uk/18349/Lakeland-Natural-Flavour-Coconut-

it's lovely!! I've mixed it in with a bit of quark and a bit of sweetner just to take away the bitterness of the quark but I can't taste any alcohol at all.

They're only £2.59 at the minute on offer.. £3.99 usually..

Pudding for me tonight is going to be pineapple and coconut "cream" - it'll be like i'm in the Carribean :rotfl:

I also bought a new fella for my collection (the reindeer) (the big snowman isn't mine, he just stays with us until we manage to drive to my sisters at some point!)

    etd_zps8c2e327d.jpg

I pop them in the hall so that when people come to visit we have a xmas greeter!

Anyway .. I forgot to post the chart last night so here it is. I've took a few people off who haven't posted their results from the past two weeks just to tidy it up a bit...
