How much more would you like to lose ideally mildredd? I suspect (though I could be wrong) like me you're finding life is getting in the way of staying on plan and you're frustrated because you know you can lose if you really stick to it.

All I'm doing at the moment is eating on plan on the days in between my meals out socialising. That's keeping me stable (???) but I can't be losing although I'd like to.

What about trying to maintain as best you can then having a big push after Christmas to lose a bit more?

I made the tarragon chicken from the SW mag for supper tonight. I won't be doing it again. The sauce was very thin but perhaps I could have reduced it down further. Mainly, I don't think I like the sweet aniseed flavour of tarragon. I'll go back to my usual chicken casserole with thyme and rosemary.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement, lovely peeps, nibbled within syns tonight, so all is good, really didn't want the weekend to spoil my angelic week.

sorry you are having such a hard time flutter, TIE and Milredd,
  • Just popping in to send some big hugs to Tie and Mildredd xx and anyone who finds this time of the year difficult. We are all lead to believe that Christmas is a happy joyful time when there are some who really struggle with it for whatever reason and cannot wait for it all to be over and done with.

Sorry if this is tmi but I am having major toilet issues this week - nearly a week since I have been properly despite having loads of veggies, reasonable amount of fruit and upped drinks  There had better be movement before wi tomorrow night ;). Are you still struggling Meg?

Thanks jock for recommending the Shwartz Chicken Curry (slow cooker) packet. We tried it yesterday and it was delicious. We served it with extra veggies - I even had some brussels with mine (fav veg atm). Even though it was to serve 4, we divided ours into 3 so had a good big portion. Will definitely be having it again.

Had a major sort out of papers with DS yesterday (many years worth) and I have made a start on shredding it this morning and the bloomin shredder has cut out already. Good excuse to pop on here while its cooling down.

Will be walking down to Mum's shortly - we like our early morning cuppa coffee whilst putting the world to rights but it is so dark this morning and I like to be able to see what I'm walking in (walk used by many dog walkers and some of them don't always clean up )

Anyway washer is just about to shout for me so I will get that sorted.

Well done to all the losers :T

    Have a good day everyone

Loads of hugs going out to TIE and Mildredd, and get well soon vibes to flutterby.

    Congrats on the losses :T

I'm still on plan this week, so pleased with myself that I've not snuck extras in or eaten some rubbish that won't make me feel better. Hopinng this will get me a decent loss this week but I'm only 1lb off a shiny so I'd better at least get that :D I managed nearly 2.5 days without a home weigh, but back on those now :o

Nearly had things go wrong yesterday morning because I'd planned mushrooms on toast for breakfast and hubby in a daze put proper oil in the pan. I didn't want to syn all that oil and it meant I would have used all my syns on breakfast alone because I wanted butter on my toast, so he went up the shop to get some more to cook in frylight. Bless him!

    Morning all

Hugs to all who are feeling down at the moment. I'm not a big fan of Christmas either, one of the reasons we don't spend the winter in the UK. Christmas still happens here in Spain but it's more low key and we don't get sucked into doing things just for the sake of it.

Had a lie-in this morning, so I've skipped breakfast, just had an orange. Haven't decided what to have for lunch yet, possibly salad, but dinner is going to be a roast - pork, actifry roast potatoes and parsnips, cauli, broccoli and carrots. I'll syn some apple sauce and gravy and the rest of my syns will go on a glass of wine.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

    LL :)

I had brown..... with turkey, ham and red onion. Kept away from the beautiful bbq sauce.

Then I went to work, and ate a kids pizza.....

Then I went to the pub, and drank vodkas.....

Then I went to the pizza shop on the way home, and ate chips with cheese on

........ And now, I have to go and get weighed today. I;m such an idiot. Time of the month certainly doesnt help either!

I hate being a woman sometimes.

    *sigh*

Maybe we should all come to Spain for Xmas Lois ;) how many rooms you got?

Mildredd - you haven't failed, not even one bit.. You've lost absolutely loads. Yes, you might be at a bit of a stumbling block but don't forget about what you've achieved already! Give yourself a break, try to maintain for a bit and when the time is ready to start again then carry on.

    Hugs to all struggling x

Maman - I with you on tarragon _pale_ vile stuff, yet I like aniseed :rotfl:

BEG - you did all that by 8am? You're putting me to shame, I'm still in bed drinking a cuppa!! :o

CP - u eat pork scratching coz they're lovely :D as long as you don't think about what they are. Draw a line, get back on it and put it down to one of those days!

Flutterby - hope you're feeling better soon xx

Off Christmas shopping today, I've got a hankering for a hot chocolate which is weird as we never go in coffee shops.. I shall resist and treat myself to an options later when I get back.

    Green day for me
    B - banana, Alpen bar 3
    L - ryvita, heb, triangles (0.5hea) pickles
T - honey/ Orange sausage and veg bake (LM sausages) 1 for honey
    S - milk in tea (0.5 hea)

Still have another heb/a to use... Hmm I'll have a think..
