Been out all day today and not had time to read back yet. We took DS for a University Interview. A buffet lunch was provided and of course I didn't stay on plan but was quite restrained. Then we had a coffee break in the afternoon served with large double choc cookies, of which I had two:o Upon returning home I decided I may as well call this a blow out day, so went on to have ice-cream, crisps and chocolate.

It was fun to do but now worried about the consequences. Will have to be extremely good between now and Saturday.

Should I be weighing out the amount of pasta I have?

Absolutely no need to weigh anything except Healthy Extras; however you should only eat until you are satisfied not stuffed!

Oh Shala there is nothing worse than trapped wind. I used to suffer really really badly from it pre SW and it used to keep me up all night at times. Still get the odd bout but nowhere near as bad though. I literally used to feel like someone was kicking me in the back with it.

I used to get Wind Settlers from Asda - shame about the name! Thank goodness for self service tills!!!! Rennie never did anything for me.

I am another bloated one today. Went for that Indian yesterday - was lovely but bloated and fed up today. No idea what tea is but it will be light and full of superfrees. Lots of fluids today I think.

My middle is aching from flat belly class on Monday. But that can only be a good thing.

I never used to wear skirts or dresses pre losing weight - I still don't too work as I can't so I wear them whenever I can now.

These Rennie are called Deflatin or something like that. Specifically for trapped wind.. I look like i'm 9 months pregnant tonight :( I thought it might be a bit of fruit belly yesterday so I haven't eaten fruit today but still got it..
    STS this week.
A bit fed up but I will keep trying.
Off out with dogs just now. Back later.

How come the weight is falling off my hubby and I am losing none.:( We eat exactly the same breakfasts, we eat the same lunch together and our evening meal is exactly the same and always SW.
Neither of us snack between meals.

He has less weight to lose than me, so it's not that either.

I am very fed up about this.

Sorry to hear you're both fed up.. me too!!

Penny - my OH losses loads too, Consultant said that men would usually lose double the amount a lady did even if eating the same thing :( just one of lives annoyances.. although I think men are more focussed when they need to be.

Dreading weigh in tomorrow but i'm determined to give it a good try again for another week. If I don't lose weight again then I think i'll have to have a big chat with my consultant :(

    Hi all
Mildredd- My hand was forced. I could no longer afford to pay. It was either call target or stop going altogether- given that SW is my only social interaction I didn't want to do that. I would love to lose more but can't pay so I'm stuck on the piddly insignificant (to me) couple of stone. I wanted to stop when I was a 14 although I partly achieved that- I wear a 14 from some shops but am still in an 18 from others.
Stressful day today. I realised in the early hours of the morning that the assignment I had worked mega hard on had a massive omission so I had to quickly add it in, re-submit and email my tutor to beg him to accept. Luckily he did! Tumble dryer broke again  it's a year old and this will be its third repair! Then spent most of the day on the phone trying to get help with my PIP form. The Macmillan benefits advisors are going to call me back tomorrow or Friday.
Then when I went to make my tea I realised that my salmon had gone off  so I had to have Quorn steaks instead. Just noticed I put on yesterday's meal plan I was having Quorn grills and sausages but I ended up not having at as I realised that I needed to use my salad up yesterday. So I had Quorn sausages (synned) and salad last night.
Friday is my social team night out. Still undecided what to wear. I have a dress but I bought a sparkly top to wear with jeans instead. However may change my mind back but the place were going is upstairs and I'm on crutches so I'm thinking jeans might be a better option.
    Today's menu:
B: HEXB Weetabix, 2 Activia 0% cherry yoghurts, 2 bananas. Decaf coffee with a little HEXA s/s.
L: 5 Scan Bran (5 syns) 3 HEXA laughing cow light, ham, chicken chunks. 2 apples and a satsuma. Pint of NAS
Snack: 2 cheese twists (4 syns) pint of NAS
T: Quorn lamb grills, Linda McCartney Rosemary and red onion sausages, steamed broccoli, carrots, baby corn and sugar snap peas, steamed new potatoes, tinned sweetcorn. Cup of decaf and Curly Wurly (6 syns)
    Syns: 15
Body magic: mile and a half round village
Hope everyone's ok. I'm aware every time I post recently I'm complaining! Sorry people. My mental health isn't brilliant at the moment :( xx

Vent away if it helps, have a dodgy hug :grouphug:

Went to the cinema last night and not even ate anything, didn't feel like it since it was past midnight, was easier than I thought it would be.

Not sure about today's menu yet, something with mince, maybe mince and tatties with lots of veg.

Have a good day all, big hug if you are sad or not happy :grouphug:

WI for me this morning and having been good all week and within Syns hoping for a loss (although a sneaky weigh this morning is showing a small gain - just hope my scales are wrong!). Am hoping to get towards bottom end of target by Christmas but that may be difficult as have a couple of weekends away between now and then and meals out.

Not sure what I'm having today as need to go shopping - will only have a banana for breakfast and probably a smoked salmon & cucumber sandwich for lunch.

The plan for this evening is liver, bacon, mash & veg but depends whether I can get some nice liver at the butchers - it's a bit annoying as quite often when I want liver they haven't got any or it's already sliced up and I like to buy mine in a piece so that DH can slice it very thinly - butchers never seem to be able to slice as thin as we like.

If I can't get liver will have to have a rethink when I'm there.

Will post back later after WI and after shopping.

Thanks for listening!! Hubby is not more focussed than me though because we eat exactly the same. Boring but true. I prepare all the meals and he eats precisely the same as me. If we have a treat its a Curly Wurly and that's 6 syns I believe. I was tested for underactive thyroid but they reckon it's not that.

    Morning all :)

Mrs-Ryan - I don't know anything about your situation but it sounds like you've got a lot to put up with so feel free to complain. And, don't play down your weight loss, losing 2 stone is an achievement you should be proud of so give yourself a pat on the back. It will be a challenge to maintain and when you're a bit better off you can set a new target and lose a bit more.

There's something that really puzzles me about SW - why is milk restricted, but yogurt is free? It annoys me because there's more sugar in yogurt than there is in skimmed milk so it's more fattening yet you can eat as much as you like!

Weigh-in for me tomorrow and I'm really hoping for a positive result in the loo today! More oranges I think. :o

I've just noticed the smilies work when I'm using my tablet so the problem must be with the laptop.

    Have a good day everyone.
