Yes, I have moved off when the lights were still red (well, must have, in my mind they have turned green). I only go by the list of penalyties I oculd find online, will see what the official letter says when it comes in.... I am going to get the 'Job ticket' at work now, which allows us free public transport from out home to work, and costs something like 25 euros a month. Will be enquiring HR today how to get it. It will take a bit longer to get to work, about an hour instead of half an hour drive, but I will survive.

    Menu today:
B: porridge (HeB) with milk (HeA), coffee
L: left over cous cous with veg and a bit of turkey breast
D: OH was going to roast pork shoulder, but not sure if he can make as he has an appointment today... And I am having salad tonight as it needs to be finished off before we go away

Snacks: raisin wheats (about 5 syns)

  • Only half a pound off this week.

I think I need to re-check the portion sizes of healthy extras and syns. I was weighing everything to start with but then thought I could do it by eye.

A good remingder to weigh things! I started using Myfitnesspal last week, and it makes me think more about what I eat and how much!

On the good side this week, I have finally received the Nano SIM card and managed to start up my new iPhone! Now just need to see if I can transfer my old number to it. Not a big problem if I don't, but would be nice if it worked.

I am getting used to the bigger size, but I am loving it!

    Morning all :)

Congrats on the losses - our chart is looking really good! Thank you Shala. If my maths is up to it, that's 7 stone that Santa won't be seeing :T

Hugs Meg, that must have been a bit of a shocker :( Hope you're back in target next week - it's not much to lose.

I have my little gift tag set up by where I usually sit so that I can keep seeing it and get my determined head on this week. That's the plan anyway. Hubby said that he doesn't want me having another week when I'm worrying about WI and don't want to go :rotfl:

I've had my branflakes. For lunch I will be frylighting some veg and sticking some eggs with it (kind of frittata recipe but scrambled cos it's far easier ;)). I bought the fakeaway book last night so I'm going to attempt sweet and sour 'chicken' and egg fried rice (might be overkill on the eggs today?). It says a load of syns on Green but that must be the chicken and I'll be using quorn pieces which are free.

I've never attempted chinese food before but it looks pretty simple?!

Oh Shala there is nothing worse than trapped wind. I used to suffer really really badly from it pre SW and it used to keep me up all night at times. Still get the odd bout but nowhere near as bad though. I literally used to feel like someone was kicking me in the back with it.

I used to get Wind Settlers from Asda - shame about the name! Thank goodness for self service tills!!!! Rennie never did anything for me.

I am another bloated one today. Went for that Indian yesterday - was lovely but bloated and fed up today. No idea what tea is but it will be light and full of superfrees. Lots of fluids today I think.

My middle is aching from flat belly class on Monday. But that can only be a good thing.

I never used to wear skirts or dresses pre losing weight - I still don't too work as I can't so I wear them whenever I can now.

Crabapple, 1lb is good too!!!!! It is all in the right direction, that all that matters! We all need time 'off' to enjoy little things, and I think it is ok to have a few days off the plan, as long as you are in it for the long run! You already lost 3st 6lb - imagine how much that is!!!!! For comparison, my children are about 2st 2lb, they are 2.5 year olds, and on the heavy side although not fat. You have a doughter similar age and a little son, I would guess that the weights of them both added together would come to a similar number. Now - pick up both of your children at the same time - that is how much weight you have actually lost!!!!!!!! It is amazing!

Meg - some weeks we all feel a bit "bleh", but I am sure next week you will be back on targe. Try increase the water intake - I found that really helps me with bloatiness....

  • Good morning!

I am at work in trousers...sounds like such a little thing but I haven't worn these trousers since I was about 8 weeks pregnant. They aren't as loose as they were pre-pregnancy but I still have a little under 1.5st to go until I'm that weight, I'm just chuffed I'm back in to them! Make me feel tons more positive about eventually getting back in to all my other pretty work wear!

Office to myself most of the morning but lots to be doing so going to plan out my day then force myself to concentrate :)

    Today:
Breakfast: ready brek (substitute HeB as discussed previously) made with 150m SS from HeA. Cup of tea (milk from HeA) and a banana
Lunch: I have some ham, strips of red pepper and some spinach to make myself some bread free roll ups, melon chunks and an apple
    Mid afternoon: Satsuma
Tea: baked tilapia fillet, rice, tomato and basil sauce (it's about 3.5 syns for half the pot and I'll probably have less than that on my plate but will call it that!), spinach and salad

I may have a hot chocolate before bed which would be another 3 syns (2 for the actual hot choc as its an Options one, 1 for a little spot of aerosol cream)

Also going to try for a walk on lunch, even if it's just a mooch to try and get some Christmas present inspiration for bf

Oh and I'm already on with plenty of water/NAS squash :) I want to try and push a little more off the scales though I already have a loss this week based on what my sneaky early weigh said :) really chuffed that I'm almost half way to my slinky for Santa target!

    Morning

Meg - don't beat yourself up too much about the gain, our bodies sometimes conspire against us and you've just had a fluctuation in the wrong direction. Wouldn't you think, with all the fruit and veg we eat constipation wouldn't be a problem, but I've been affected too. Maybe it's because we eat less bread and cereal? I don't like taking laxatives but prefer to find a natural remedy like prunes.

Lushlife - well done for getting back into the pre-baby trousers, it's a great feeling, better than buying new clothes, and when they're so big they're threatening to fall down, you can treat yourself! :D

Someone made a point about weighing HEs and I really must get some decent scales, the ones I've got aren't particularly accurate and when DH weighs cheese, somehow the portion becomes more generous than it should be! Last night we'd saved our HEs to have cheese on toast in the evening, which I let him cook. When he handed it to me, I took one look and thought it was probably 2 HEs worth of cheese but ate it anyway. :o I think I'll stick to Babybel and cheese triangles.

    Have a good day.

    LL :)

p.s. I can only do smilies by typing the code, not by clicking on them, does everyone have this problem?

  • Good luck for next weeks weigh in Meg. Try not to let it get you too down.
