  • Some of you have truly inspirational losses......well done, I hope to match them one day this century!!

Starting tomorrow but weighing in on Tuesdays. Due to time restraints now until Friday thought I'd put my food diary up for Wed and Thursday (actually both are the same) now and catch up as soon as I can

    Wed / Thu

    Original day

    B - Porridge (B) made with milk (A)

L - ham salad with boiled egg, beetroot, lettuce, toms, cucumber. ML yog.

T - bacon, mushrooms, egg and tomatoes on toast (B)

Lot of NAS, black coffee, banana and apple, Satsuma when I remember!

    Hope that is OK??

    thank you x

Brilliant loss mr & mrs ahrimaniac - feel to join in whenever you like..

I feel your pain meg - I've been having a rumbly, bloated tummy for a few days :(

Hope you manage to miss a gain!!

I on the other did a sneaky weigh and have put on 1.5lb  from the bloated-ness, that better go by Thursday night, i'll be so disappointed - I passed on cakes and chocolate and everything this week at work!
    Thanks Shala
but I didn't avoid a gain, would you believe
+ 5, I have heard of the expression full of !!!!! but really don't believe this, anyway consultant sys I must lose 1.1/2lb next week or have to start paying again. so better get my act together.

    Hope you're well!

Just wanted to pop my head in and say howdo - the husband and I are doing SW, and have lost 30lb between us so far, with a lot more to go.

I've been a loiterer for ages but just wanted to say thanks for these threads, they're good for keeping on track!

    Many thanks
    J

Hiya - DH and I are both following the plan too. Do you ever fall out about it? Mine told someone I'd told him off about eating too much bread when all I did was point out he could only have one HEB! And whose lost the most?

I'm intrigued by your username - what does ahri stand for?

Thanks for the soup recipe flutterby - I'll give it a go and look out for the consequences! I think the only pot I've got big enough will be the slow cooker so I might try doing it in that.

Piddly little loss!!! You've lost 5 stone!! Don't forget that and don't let them get you down. :)

Well done on getting that assignment done. I can't believe how well you coped what with all the toing and froing and then all the computer problems.

I always think quick gains come off quickly too meg. Just get right back on plan (I almost typed on pan:o) and you'll be fine. You'd need three weeks to be out of pocket and that's not going to happen.

I'm still feeling fat and bloated too. I'm out tomorrow for an evening of eating and drinking. I'm planning on wearing a pencil skirt and taking skinny jeans for Thursday morning as we're staying over. That'll be the acid test.

    Well done. Jttou and crabapple.
    Congratulations, duke and b_e_g.

Come on in, ahrimaniac and husband. There’s always someone here to help.

Mrs_Ryan, I admire your determination. Using 2 keyboards must be a nightmare, especially when you’re under pressure to get an assignment completed. I’d have thought consultants would have been trained to support everyone in group. People who’ve been following the plan for such a long time must need extra motivation to stick with it once the initial enthusiasm wears off, no matter how successful they’ve been. I think it would be valuable way to develop each person’s continued commitment and to understand that it’s not an easy journey.

Went a bit over syns today. I forgot I’d had my hexb at breakfast and had a slice of bread with my soup. That plus 2 garibaldi biscuits (these could be my new best friends ;) ) on top of the planned syns, gave me a total of 18.5. Not a good start, but I did enjoy my mac and cheese. ;)

    Wednesday’s Menu
Breakfast: fruit & ff Greek yogurt, half hexb toast
Lunch: lentil soup, half hexb bread, Shape 0% fat yogurt
Dinner: lemon chicken couscous (from mag)
Snacks: hexa 3 mini babybel, choc digestive, 2 garibaldis
    Total planned syns: 8

Please let me stick to this!

B_E_G - way to go with the dress & tights! I'm at target and still very rarely wear a skirt or dress. Last time was when I had some professional photos taken (paid for by my sister as my Christmas present last year) in September. Don't think the next time will be until end January 2015 when we go to DH's works "Christmas" do - always in Jan because December is a very busy month as they need to get stuff into the shops to cover the Christmas/New Year period.

Meg - sorry to hear of your gain but I'm sure you'll manage to get back into target next week and save all those fivers! (brilliant idea by the way).

    Having an EE day today:

B - porridge made with water, Mullerlight banana custard; banana
    L - LO butternut squash & lentil curry/rice
D - cottage pie (will probably use the savoury mince recipe from earlier in the thread - if I can find it!) as the base. The rest will get frozen for another day.

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - fruit split lolly 3. Not sure what else yet but maybe a couple of Ryvita & lighter spread 7.

    Denise
