STS this week.
A bit fed up but I will keep trying.
Off out with dogs just now. Back later.0 -
Good to hear you sounding upbeat lush. Great news about the work trousers!
I wear skirts and dresses far more now than before I got to target. In fact, it's true to say I never wore them for years except for formal occasions. As I'd gained weight I'd descended into a black 'uniform' of black trousers and tops which just the occasional coloured scarf or jacket to liven it up. Now I have loads of dresses and skirts in my wardrobe and loads more colour. Lots of them are from charity shops as I found I was happy to experiment there and it was ideal when I was between sizes.
I've had SW breakfast (boiled eggs) and I'll have a SW lunch (probably ham, veg and pickles) then it's off plan until tomorrow lunchtime. Dinner menu looks reasonable but there'll be wine syns. My friend often offers wholemeal bacon roll for breakfast but if it's croissants I'll just have to suck it up!;)0 -
I've never been a dress or skirt person truthfully
I am a special occasion only dress girl
Have my dress ready for the ball at the end of the month - hair n make up appointment booked, just need to arrange a babysitter for Friday morning so I can go get my contact lens trial sortedStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Mrs Ryan - can I ask why u called your target ? Just wondering if I missed why or if it was just a size you felt comfortable with?
For me personally I don't particularly like discussing how much I've lost as I'm embarrassed by it ? I'm certainly not smug about it? However if I'm asked then ill say how I've found it and how I've not give up anything I enjoy?
In terms of weight lost I found it really helped to compare my overall loss to another physical amount? I found it quite hard after a while when it became a bit of a way of life to just be losing each week with the odd gain but if I looked at the big picture it was a lot more inspiring? Ie I've now lost 2.5 of my 2 year old that's just baffling really - 8lbs is an average new born etc, a Christmas turkey? I have to relate it to something physical to go oh okay that's a bit mad really but go me I can't go back to carrying 5 new born babies around constantly sort of thing? Xxx
That's my thought for the day anyway
Off to ice pink fairy cakes with poorly mini meStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

I agree with Mildredd - it helps to relate to the physica size of who much I lost, then it is not just a number!
I have just entered my fruits for snack in myfitnesspal and it hit me how many carbs and sugar is in them! I think I need to be beter organised and bring vegetable sticks for my snacks at work instead of stuffing myself with fruit (so far I had orange, banana and kiwi, and that is 50% of my sugar intake today so far - and I still have an apple on my desk!)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Funny you should say that, I was driving with my DD in the car and stopped to let two ladies cross the street, both quite overweight and both wearing black trousers, a top and a black cardigan. I said to my DD:"look, the fat woman's uniform" as I also pointed to myself cause I was also wearing black trousers, top and black cardigan :rotfl: It must be a "thing"
I lost 1 1/5 lb, whoo:j please Shala for the chart, quite happy with that.
I am trying to catch up on washing and housework but I keep getting distracted by fb and this thread...... someone kick me up the bahooky.
Making minute steak with lots and lots of onions tonight and a big salad, can't wait. I had Sainsbury's beef ravioli for lunch with spinach but it wasn't very tasty, warm and filling though, smothered it with lots of black pepper.
Going to the pictures with DDs tonight at midnight to see the new Hungergames movie and already have my snacks planned so I don't mindlessly chomp away at everything.
Right, I can't procrastinate any longer.............0 -

How come the weight is falling off my hubby and I am losing none.:( We eat exactly the same breakfasts, we eat the same lunch together and our evening meal is exactly the same and always SW.
Neither of us snack between meals.
He has less weight to lose than me, so it's not that either.
I am very fed up about this.0 -

Coz everything in life is better if you are better & easier if you are male:rotfl:
If there is such a thing as reincarnation I am coming back as one! :rotfl:
No seriously - who knows, men do seem to find it easier to shift weight and do get bigger losses. Just keep going though and try not to let it annoy you - maybe try not to compare and just accept that it will be different. So one of those annoying things I think!0
