In my group I'm treated as the resident expert on wine syns.:o so I expect to be really busy on the run up to Christmas!:rotfl:Sometimes it's better to remain anonymous.

Oooh! I'd be interested to hear what happens at one of those events.

Hope littleme gets better very soon.:)

Me too,; in fact there are 2 or 3 of us who get treated that way. She calls us "the AA corner", LOL!

Have got my butternut squash & lentil curry in the slow cooker and it's already smelling lovely - really think it's the HM curry paste that does it as I always cook that off once I've softened the onions before bunging everything into the SC.

I've never really used ready meals so don't think I'll be using the SW ones either, although may have a look at them for DH for work but they'll need to be fairly hefty portions, LOL and low syn (he's sort of doing SW - but can't get his head around HEBs!).

Sorry to laugh at your misfortune ginvzt but I have to confess I read flashed in quite a different way.:o

That's a brilliant weightloss. Now go and enjoy your holiday. You'll probably gain a bit but it'll come off quickly once you get back on plan.

Most of the 0% Greek yogurts are syn free. Personally I like Total 0%.

Thanks maman, I finally laughed since the even happened, instead of constantly crying or trying not to! That lifted my mood!

I am not helped today for being down, as I am tired after the night - my daughter woke up at 1:30, requested another tea (she gets hot water with lemon and honey), then at two she was asking for more tea, a horse, milk, anything! Took her to our bed and she still haven't slept really till about 4am!!!! I had to be up at 6am, so that is lovely restful night in my house!

I used to like Tesco or Sainsbury's greek yogurt, but hated Total ones. Might give a go to them again, if I find a fat free Total here!

    Menu:
    B. 2 soft boiled eggs, satsuma, apple
L: pea and gammon soup, orange, finn crisps (1/2 HeB)
D: turkey fillets in some way, with veg from the freezer

Still missing HeA, will get some cheese when at home or a coffee with milk. The secong half of heB will be olive oil.

I'm with you ginvzt - can't stand the Total 0% yoghurt I find the texture really "weird" not like yoghurt at all. I don't eat natural yoghurt very often but when I do I like the Tesco fat free Greek yoghurt.

Mildredd~~Think you would be a fabarooni consultant.

Think the consultants have a traffic light system on their PDA which guides them as to who to foccus on.

    Hi Maman.
Thank you. I did not know I could save syns up in this way!
To be honest the only reason I did not have syns today was because I am not hungry. Today is a red day and I usually have more syns on red days.

    Hi Lantanna.
Over 6 stone in a year is absolutely fantastic!! I would be delighted to lose half that in a year!
I am taking your advice about taking one step at a time and have set myself a new target of 5lb by Christmas.

Today is a red day and I am having...
Breakfast - cereal with milk (A&B)
    Lunch - Bacon, egg, tomato.
Dinner - Pork chop, honey glazed pork chipolatas in bacon (3s) turnip, carrot, broccoli, New potatoes (4) Gravy (1.5) 1 Aunt Bessie Yorkshire pudding (2.5)

    Total syns 11

    Week 1 - 9lb
    Week 2 - 5lb

L - ham sandwich, beetroot, satsuma (heb +2)
T - bunless cheese burger, SW chips, salad, (0.5 hea)

  • Just had some super speed soup for lunch and it was delicious, I added some chilli flakes to it to give it a bit of a kick too! And major high five to me for making back from the microwave through 3 heavy metal locked doors without injuring myself with the hot soup too! (I work in a prison!) :j:rotfl: I have bought a big bowl with handle on to help with this!
