those two instagram links are great, thanks for sharing.

Well, I am getting plenty of exercise, up and down the ladder, painting DD's bedroom, I am sweating up a storm. Still sore from yesterday's painting so stopping for today, have so much other stuff to do and I am sitting here, leisurely reading the thread, lol oops

Making butternut sq soup and pasta with cubed ham and leeks, peppers, broccoli and a tomato sauce for tea. Trying to minimise the syns as had a few too many of those at the weekend and WI is on Wed. That will dominate Wed's class won't it, the new ready meals? Oh joy!! I better bite my tongue as everyone will be ooohing and awwwing cause I agree that SW is about eating fresh cooked food but we shall see.

Right, I better get on with it, can't believe it is nearly 2.30 already..

Your soup sounds good. I planned to make butternut & carrot soup at some stage this week. I have not thought of adding in pieces of meat. I wonder what cubed ham would be like in my soup??

    Hello :)

does anyone else think that frozen ready meals is a daft idea given that SW actively promote eating fresh/cook from scratch? Would it not have made more sense to have a range that is similar to the M & S count on us/fuller longer range? or perhaps a range that is similar to the hello fresh idea? (ie in that it has all said ingredients in pack - you just cook them yourself with the recipe that is in the pack)

    http://www.hellofresh.co.uk/

Could i also be cheeky and ask someone to check on syn values for the M & S BBQ sliced chicken is please? Its 130g for the pack.

    Thank you

I probably wont buy them myself as suspect they will be expensive but can see how they would be a great help to some people.

I love making bacon really crispy and cutting it small, then sprinkle it in your bowl of butternut sq soup, cubed ham works too. I buy these blocks of ham from Asda or Sainsb and cube those up. It is easy too and quick.

hmm bacon ! nom. i normally use the mattessons turkey bacon which is nice but i think proper bacon would be better in the soup. :)

Lois Lane, I think it is ok if you have your super free foods on the side, as it is not always going to fit on the same plate!

Alsoo, you don't have to have superfrees with every of your meals,

Thanks ginvzt, I've been going by the instructions in the starter pack book, which says fill 1/3rd of your plate with superfree foods, so I took it to mean you do that for every meal!

Tonight we're having SW chips, fish and peas, and I was going to add some SF food as well, but presumably it's not necessary? So far today I've had 2 tomatoes, a pear, and half a banana and I'll probably have fruit for 'pudding'.

Oh I did it Yeh! :T

Hi wizkid - when you reply to the thread there's an A with a black line under it on the toolbar at the top - click on the little down arrow next to it and lots of different colours appear. You can either select a colour then type what you want, or highlight the words/numbers you want in to change to another colour and then select the colour you want.
