For Shala, WI loss 1lb happy with that as its in the right direction. Tummy still not right though.
Going to try fish this week, bought cheap frozen White fish and salmon trimmings. Would like to know what you use for the sauce in a fish pie please? I have quark and fresh parsley so making a parsley sauce but not sure what it will taste like.
Also are pilchards in tomato sauce still free? Thought I'd have them instead of boiled eggs with my salads this week.
Thanks in advance :A

Forgot who asked about ready brek (getting old
) it used to be a HE but now isn't. I still count it as HEB as its gluten free and I love it
Doesn't seem to have an adverse affect weight wise (that's all the tummy issues and comfort carp food I keep having).
Nice that the oxo are on offer but they are one I can't have as they have wheat and gluten in.

Welcome Lois :hello:
We are new to slow cooking Lord Duke and I must say I wish it was something that we had started to do long ago. Yes it is great for the soups and stews but is also amazing for cooking joints of meat. The joints of meat we have cooked have been so tendered and just melt in your mouth. We sit the joints usually on a bed of veggies and then blitz them at the end with stock for gravy (all extra sfs). I would recommend that you don't get one that is too small as if you have anything leftover it can always be saved for another day or pop it into your freezer. I think we have a 6.5 ltr and at times would like a bigger one.
Well done to all the losers :T and big fat hugs to anyone in need.
Thanks for our brilliant chart Shala.
DH has put some of the Lidl Christmas goodies in today - namely liquer truffles, chocolate almond clusters and a huge stollen . The stollen has been opened already but so far I have not succumbed to temptation - its not one of my favourite treats but it hasn't stopped me from eating it in the past.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.

Hi all.. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.. It's work for me so kept things simple for tea.. Salmon.. Again :rotfl: http://instagram.com/p/vbie6sGjcu/
Discovered Aldi crispy fries are only 3.5 syns a bag.. Might treat myself to some.. Just not eat the whole lot in one go!
Love my slow cooker. Can't remember the brand but has the heavy dish in that you can use on the hob to brown off meat first.. I prefer chicken thigh meat to use in it as find breast can go very dry if cut up small for curry, casserole etc.
I'm having chicken tomorrow!0 -
Amazing, nic! Well done, LD, beanie and Maisie.
Mich, sorry your fishy week hasn’t worked – maybe there will be a time lag. I’m doing fishy week too, so I have my fins and flippers crossed!
Maman, I’m impressed that you turned down that fish supper!
Oh dear, ginvzt, I am most definitely NOT a lark! Quite the opposite - and I am confessing that on Thursday night (?) I went to bed at 5am. Normally bedtime’s about 3 and I get up at 8.30 (long lie since I’m retired now).
HIya, Lois. Pleased to meet you.
Maman, I’d eat a crate of satsumas at the game if I thought it’d make a difference! We lost, but only 2-1. First half was awful and looked like the thrashing I expected was coming, but a second half improvement means I avoided the consolation chocolate – and didn’t need a celebratory one either!
Lush, I have that slow cooker too – but I never use the sear facility! I got it because it is huge and I can do enough for 6 adults and 3 children! I also have a normal sized one which is a Tesco own brand one and is perfectly adequate. It is much heavier than the Morphy Richards one because it has the ceramic pot.
Well stuck to plan again today, so syns were 5 for cream in cullen skink, 6 for a slice of bread from a large loaf and 1 for mayo inbaked potato. Total: 12syns.
Later I'll have 3 hexa minibabybel light & grapes.
Sunday Menu - still fishy.
Breakfast: scrambled eggs & smoked salmon
Lunch: hexb sandwich filled with salmon & cucumber, salmon teriyaki with noodles, Ski lemon mousse (5 syns)
(just realised it's a very salmony day! Oh well, that's all I have so it will have to do.)

Good luck with yours, I'm still mostly on fish greentiger.. Will see how it goes.. The scales weren't kind but could definitely feel a difference in myself... And discovered I actually enjoy salmon.. Isn't it funny how your taste buds change when you eat 'proper' food
Reading on Instagram that the 'exciting news' coming in the new year is that Iceland are going to be selling Slimming World ready meals... Hmmm.. Think I prefer to eat fresh.. Wonder if the clue was there with Peter Andre being the guest at the recent awards do!0 -
