    I don't eat/like yogurt so I'm excused.;)

:Tto maisie and tazzy . Keep posting both.:)

For those who use Oxo cubes (bought them specially today for mildredd's savoury mince) they're cheaper in Aldi than even the offer in Sainsbury's. Can't remember the exact price but something like £1.25 for 18 in Aldi and £1 for 12 in Sainsbury's.

    ETA: Many apologies it's topgirl's mince recipe.:o

    Morning

I dont mind the piña colada yogurt, apart from the hard bit of pineapple in it, it's horrid

Bought scan bran in class on Wed, had 3 as part of my HEb last night. Topped them with vlf mayo, cucumber, ham, red onion and beetroot on the side. They are not very nice, only managed to eat 1 1/2 and gave up, just ate the toppings. Had some Roses chocolates to compensate :D

Not sure about today's menu yet, quite fancy making burgers and SW chips with coleslaw and beetroot, mmmm my fav meal I think. I have pasta Bol left from tea last night, might heat that up for lunch if OH and teenagers don't get there first.

Our leader is saying on our group's fb page that there is a big announcement on Monday and how much she loves SW and that it will be good news for the members, so wonder what all that is about.

Have a great Saturday, be kind to yourself

Thinking of having a Red day today:

    B - bacon, egg & mushrooms; bread (HEB1)
L - carvery - will probably syn a couple of small potatoes, loads of veg
D - LO beef stew; jacket potato (HEB2)

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day. Probably won't use 2nd HEA.

Syns - couple small roast pots (7?)

Probably no wine today as have had wine the last couple of nights!

Hi - I've been following this thread for a couple of weeks while making up my mind whether to give SW another try and having lost 6lbs in a week I'm going for it, so please can I join in?

It's been very useful reading your menus, I'm mainly following Extra Easy and sometimes it's a struggle to think of superfree food to go with other things.

I followed SW 10 years ago and successfully lost a substantial amount of weight, and thought it was the best 'diet' ever. Sadly, 10 years on and all the weight is back on again, and during that time I have tried to get back in to SW again, but I was put off by new ideas like mix to max - anyone remember that? It used to be either red days or green days and then suddenly you could have a red breakfast, a green lunch and red dinner - why would that work?

Anyway, it seems to be much simpler now, orange, red or green, and orange is working for me and DH (he lost 6.5lbs!), and we're eating lots of fruit and vegetables which can only be a good thing.

Anyway, look forward to joining in with the chat, no doubt I'll have some questions for you, and I'll try to check in every day to keep on track.
