Some brilliant losses, well done!
We had in service today and Lunch was pot luck, you should have seen the food! Cakes, BBQ wings, sausages, sausage rolls, all sorts of crisps and mayo laden pastas etc etc. luckily I had made my own pasta salad and only ate one slice of cheese (count it as my HEa) feel quite :A
Spag Bol for tea, the rain is battering down, need warm filling tasty food0 -
We had a stand in consultant for a couple of weeks during the summer.. Someone mentioned my fitness pal and he nearly tore her head off saying if she wanted to follow other methods she shouldn't be doing SW.. So rude and was mad at myself later for not responding to him after he told me I shouldn't be using syns on tomato sauce but should make it from the little book recipe.. Said syns should only be used for treats!! Wouldn't attend one of his groups!
ginvzt, shame your DH isn't more focused but his choice I suppose. I'd have an issue with mfp as I like huge portions. I know SW are always reiterating that they don't 'do' calories but if you want to try it then go ahead. It was!.. Was ages telling one lady how she could save all her syns for bottles of wine at the weekend..
I was hating the guy until he said that but now he's my best mate!;)Some brilliant losses, well done!

:T on your amazing restraint.
Talking of INSET, reminded me of when a child called a colleague 'fat cow'. She was mortified as she'd just lost substantial amount of weight on Cambridge diet. She said she could cope with being called a cow bit not fat!:rotfl:So when she left we had a 'Fat Cow Day' and it stuck for all get-togethers.
So I've done my meal plan and shop. Quite limited really as I'll be out for two meals this week. One is a usual in a local pub so I can have steak and salad. Unfortunately, they'd stopped doing JPs last time I was there so might be forced to have chips.;)
Then I'm going to this murder mystery dinner

Looked at the set menu and it could be worse. My friend's really into this sort of thing so happy to join her.
At last one of the M&S party dresses from SW magazine arrived in store. Very disappointing.

If you can imagine something that looks too girly and too frumpy at the same time then that's it. Very poorly fitted at the bust so no definition and waist was far too high (probably my fault as I have a long body). One plus id that size 10 was plenty big enough!! But I won't be buying it so back to the drawing board.
Another bit of shopping news is that 5% mince is £7 per kg in Sainsbury's. I bought some ready for mildredd's savoury mince and a shepherd's (OK cottage) pie. Might go back for more to stock up on burgers and Bolognese.
I had some bacon with fried veg and pickles at lunchtime. Just off to do supper: SW burgers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, chips with a squirt of HP sauce.0 -

Sorry I have been MIA again. Started my new job today so been rushed off my feet.
1lb loss for me this week.
Was naughty today and had a piece of cake from a cake sale at work. I did resist when they came round with offices with the cakes on the trolley when everyone else on my course had another cake.
Going to make the effort to get on this thread every day as I have found when I am not I am losing focus. I have given myself one week to get used to getting up at 6am every day and from Monday I am going to start doing some exercise each morning. I am bang on half way through the amount of weight I want to lose. I have given myself a goal date of June 23rd to lose the remaning 4.5 stone.0 -
