I am drinking loads of fruit teas too. I don't like plain water, and in this weather a warm cup of fruity/herbal tea is lovely. Even my 2 year old daughter has been refusing her milk for the past week or so in favour of some tea (camomile, verbena, or just a drop of lemon juice) with a bit of honey.

I was lookign at your meal plan - the syn free pancakes are they the ones with the oats? If so, then you have sadwich for lunch too, so that is bread - do you make yours with one or two slices? The cowboy pie I see online is free on Extra Easy, but then you can only have 1 HeB, so if the pancakes are with oats, and the bread for lunch - that is two HeBs or you need to syn one?

Can someone shed more light on this, please?

I love peppermint tea and camomile, ill try upping those a bit more, thanks,

The syn free pancakes don't have oats, it's just 2 eggs whisked til stiff with Splenda, a little vanilla essence, the yolks folded into the whites and make into pancakes shapes in a pan, fry in fry lite. When you leave them a minute to brown, they turn over and hold their shape. Because of the Splenda and vanilla they taste like a pancake.

The cowboy pie recipe I used was from my consultants page, but it did have lean minced beef, beans and potatoes.

Well done, flutterby, lush, Bunty and shala.

Oh tweets, you made me laugh! :D

Well I have stuck to plan all day. This fishy week has been great (so far anyway). I've not felt the need for any snack today, so only jelly and saucy fish syns have been consumed (5). That leaves 10 syns PLUS hexa and hexb for this evening. Right now I'm fu' as a puggy, as me dear old Mum used to say.

    So Friday will be

Breakfast: kipper, mixed beans I found lurking in the fridge (assuming they are still edible) and tomato.
    Lunch: rollmop herring salad, clementines
Dinner: fish pie (uses hexa philly), sprouts & beetroot, Ski lemon mousse (5 syns)
Snacks: hexb bread and spiced plum jam (2 syns), chocolate digestive (4 syns)
    Total (planned) syns: 11

    All the best, everyone.
