Morning, I didn't manage I on yesterday as I was working all day. Had a good day though.

Well done to everyone with a loss this week. I have my first WI tonight. I've been good and stayed away from the scales. And I hope I have made up for having too many syns on wine at the weekend. I've tried to only have a few each day.

    Today I am having

Brekkie- syn free pancakes, shape yoghurt and a banana
Lunch - cheese sandwich, hm coleslaw (1syn) mugshot
Tea- cowboy pie (free) with veggies.
    Milk in tea -hea
Snacks- I have lots of fruit and a packet of space raiders to munch after WI (3 syns)

I've also been trying to drink more fluids, in the summer I drink loads, but stuggle in the cold weather. I have a few cups if tea a day and my morning coffee.

Do you like fruit teas? They count towards water intake. I drink loads in winter x

I am drinking loads of fruit teas too. I don't like plain water, and in this weather a warm cup of fruity/herbal tea is lovely. Even my 2 year old daughter has been refusing her milk for the past week or so in favour of some tea (camomile, verbena, or just a drop of lemon juice) with a bit of honey.

I was lookign at your meal plan - the syn free pancakes are they the ones with the oats? If so, then you have sadwich for lunch too, so that is bread - do you make yours with one or two slices? The cowboy pie I see online is free on Extra Easy, but then you can only have 1 HeB, so if the pancakes are with oats, and the bread for lunch - that is two HeBs or you need to syn one?

Can someone shed more light on this, please?

Bit late on here today as I have been out to a friends, cup of tea and a brownie later that's my syns for the day :o it was lovely though and I could taste banana in it so 1/3rd superfree :rotfl:

Not sure what else we're eating today - i'm off work so fancy something warm but don't want to eat too much and be heavy at weigh in later :( I don't think I've lost this week (hormones) which is depressing as I only needed 1/2lb to get my half stone..

Well done on the losses btw and all your shiney stickers... :T:T

I was looking at this too but thought the cowboy pie was just beans and veggie sausages with a mashed potato top ( I used to make cowboy pie in a pastry case when my kids were little - a very long time ago!) - have looked for the recipe online and can't see it? Assuming that is the cowboy pie then it's probably a Green day with syns for the veggie sausages (unless they are the Linda McCartney Red Onion and Rosemary ones which are Free).

So as a Green day it would be OK:

B - syn free pancakes - HEB oats
    L - cheese sandwich - HEA cheese/HEB bread
D - cowboy pie - syns for sausages?

Nic - could also have another HEA of milk or cheese.

Also needs to have more syns as you need to have 5-15 syns a day to be following the plan properly.

Nic - perhaps you can post again to let us know whether I've read your mealplan right?

I found a few recipes and they were with minced beef.... It was not on SW online, but google "SW cowboy pie". Will need to wait until nic tells us what it is! Or maybe the syn free pancakes are not with oats and she has a different recipe! (Please share!!!!)

I am struggling with syns. I am sure I am having them, but not really noting down what and how many syns I am having. I think I am so far syn free today, but already had 2 HeBs. So, now need to be careful with what I am having for dinner. So far, I can call today both green and red. Need to find what OH thought to have for dinner tonight.

I have a romanesco cauliflower/broccoli thing, which I think I would love to have tonight. I still need HeA too. Maybe I could make it in the oven sprinkled with a bit of cheese....
