    Morning all

Congrats on the great loss b_e_g and hugs going out to topgirl

Baby wanted to play at 3.30am :( Lack of sleep is the story of my life right now! Anyhow, shall keep plodding, try not to fall asleep before WI, and hopefully have a loss to post later.

Not sure whether to make casserole or cottage pie for dinner, I'll work it out at some point today. More likely to be casserole actually as there's far less effort involved ;)

Crabapple - I was going to suggest you went with the casserole as it's less effort, just what you need after not having a good night with the baby! At least that won't carry on for ever!

I finally did some cooking that my husband hated so much he spat it out! Turns out mashed carrot and swede reminded him too much of school dinners and he couldn't eat it :rotfl:

I'm on your husbands side I'm afraid _pale_ I sometimes have it on shepherds pie/cottage pie but I think it ruins it :rotfl:

Good luck for weigh in x

    BEG - brilliant loss :T:T

Top girl - hope you're ok.. Just focus on what you can for now..

Well we went out last night to see a comedian so we ate quite early.. By the second half I was starving  unusual for me. Anyway I resisted the ice creams and bags of M&Ms that were right next to me and just rode it out.

Came home, had a cup of tea and went to bed :j:j go me...

Well done to everyone else who had a stay on plan day yesterday.. You're all brilliant!! And to anyone who slipped a little, well there's today to keep on plan, show the naughty gremlins in your head who's boss !!

    Forgot menu. Green day
B - magic pancakes (heb) banana, drizzle of agave (2) natural yogurt
L - spaghetti hoop, toast (heb)
T - butternut squash and feta tart (hea and 2-4 for filo) spicy spuds from Christmas book and salad

Hello everyone. I've not checked in for a couple of days, which means I've been socialising (want to say "too much", but that can never be , peoplewise). Socialising for me = eating too much and eating stuff that's not SW friendly. It also means no time to keep a record of what i've eaten, so I can pretend it didn't happen. It also means I got what I deserved - it's + 2lbs for me Shala. It also means the good start I made to the week went to waste - well no, it'd have been much worse without it.

I've checked my diary and I have nothing planned for this week, so I will really have to knuckle down. I hit the 13st wall last week and now I've bounced back off it. I have to make more of an effort to get over it. I've decided I'm going to try the fishy week. I've warned DH already. With that in mind, here's today's menu.

Breakfast: mackerel in tomato sauce on hexb toast, 2 clementines
Lunch: prawn mayo (1) jacket potato, mixed salad, spring onions, tomatoes, beetroot, followed by fresh pineapple chunks
Dinner: tuna pasta, green beans, followed by hexa cheese and grapes and 1 cracker (2)
    Snacks: 2 x choc dig (8)

    Total syns: 11

I've a lot of catching up to do in the house, so I'll read back through the thread later.

You have no idea how glad I am that I have you lot to be accountable to, or I'd never get back on the wagon. Thanks everyone.:T

You're right there. That's why I said I'd make savoury mince at the weekend and then freeze half for a pie. That way the day we have it I only need to do mash. And I don't even have a baby, just idle.;)

Hope you're lucky mich. They're advertising 40% off today but there always seem to be exceptions.

You're so right shala they are all in the head and we can fight them!!! I've refused chocolate fix the last two evenings so pleased with that. Sorry to hear you can only get big bars of 70% in NI lantanna. The Aldi ones have 5 x 25g bars in them. Maybe now that they've announced all these new stores you'll get some.

Read in today's paper that there are recommendations to remove fruit juice from 5 a day as there's so much sugar in it. That's the gist plus concerns that all the sugar in drinks marketed at children isn't healthy. As you'd expect people like Innocent responded by saying it's all natural sugar. I used to love my breakfast juice but now I've replaced it with a glass of squash as I always feel dehydrated in the morning (and not just after wine syns the night before;)).

EE day, as ever, for me:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk, baked beans
L: omelette or JP, not sure yet
D: sausage, mash, carrots, cabbage, onions, peas
    Syns: gravy, scrape of spread

Maman - I think that shows that SW have been right to syn fruit juice. I've not really been one for drinking it anyway, certainly not on a regular basis. Occasionally used to have a small glass when on holiday but haven't even done that since starting SW in 2010 and I certainly don't miss it.
