    SW notes

Thanks to crabapple and mumoftwo for finding sushi syns for me. I’ll count 3 syns for mine. Not even sure if I’ll like it, but hey ho, nothing ventured, nothing gained. And I DO like fish! I’ll count 3 syns for mine.

I got those Heck chicken italia burgers when I saw them today. They’re now in freezer (didn’t check that I could do that!) ready for next week, when I’m not being fishy – or when I’m scunnered of fish, lol.

I made the campfire stew with the gammon joint at the weekend. 4 adults and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed it (adults had second helpings and there’s a portion in the freezer. I used a Lidl joint about £4 for 1kg, so it was a very good value meal.

Mildredd, I love your approach to SW and life. I’m definitely in your camp there.

Congratulations to durham, flutterby, tazzy, swiper, TG, wizkid and b_e_g,
Well done, ginvzt, on being SOWT.

Hello to any newcomers; sorry to be late with a welcome.

Glad you got sorted out with your countdown and book, Kim
Sorry your ST Martin’s day was so fraught, ginvzt.
Great idea re preparing a snack bowl, TG.
    Loving your fishy pics, mich.
    Oven Pride is magic!
Shala, those pancakes look yummy! How do you make them – and how many syns are they? And thanks again for being Mistress of the Chart.

Think I’ve caught up here now!

Could you possibly share the recipe for that thai fish curry ?? Looks amazing - might try it at the weekend!!

Your meals look fabulous - your my motivation right now!

    thanks.. here's the recipe :)

I dont add the amount of fish stock stated.. I think their recipes always say too much liquid.. I use fish sauce and water to the consistency I want.. Add extra SF's too ;)

After talking about it on here, I sat down and enjoyed a cup of Earl Grey this afternoon. It's so miserably dark and wet here I needed something to cheer me up.

I've got a dinky little teapot that a friend bought me in a teashop at Ironbridge. When I was about 10 lbs from target, we were on our way north for a short break and stopped there. I was determined to choose wisely and while everyone else had coffee and cake I had tea. I enthused about the teapot so she bought one for me just like it. Very embarrassing but a happy memory.:)

Glad you got your purse mich, it's good to treat yourself.

DH just announced he's going out for the day tomorrow and do I want to go. It'll mean lunch out. Need to think about that.
