And a STS this week. Much to be expected really...

    Onwards and upwards!

Better than a gain wishus, so well done! ;)

In other news, I'm spending my day off scrubbing my house. I have done my oven with oven pride (new product to me) and will rinse it off this aft.

I swear by that stuff Midge! Easiest, and cleanest (it can be messy) to clean all the stuff out is in the garden with a hosepipe if u have one. Only takes a couple of minutes. The power from the hose just blasts it. I assume it would be the same with a shower I guess ;)

Back on it today as promised.

    Breakfast: Grapes

Lunch: Bacon, beans, egg and a slice of toast

Dinner: Jacket potatoes with beans and cheese

    Snacks: Grapes, apples and satsumas

Syns: Curly whirly (if i make it to the shops) and possibly a sausage with lunch.

    HEA: Cheese (on the potato)
    HEB: Bread (with lunch)

Fingers crossed I can stick to it today!

Have a nice day everyone! :D

    Morning all

Weekend is over, new week, new determination

Had to take DH to doctor as he has hurt his back so didn't have time for breakfast. Just ate a banana and a slice of chicken while I decide what's for lunch. It's fish and chips for tea, I'll have some plain fish while the rest have coated fish and chips done in actifry and plenty of veg

Anyone had the canned beef ravioli from Sainsbury's? I read somewhere that it's free. Is it nice? Would be a handy, quick, stand by lunch, with some broccoli or green beans.

Today's goal: make up platter in advance for evening snacking. Think I will go swimming tonight 8-9 and have my platter afterwards.

    Have a good day

Quick visit as just finishing off at work..

    And a confession!

After posting last night about the late night munchies and feeling all smug that I was on track I went and scoffed 4 (FOUR) bags of crisps at 11.45pm!!

Why do we do these things to ourselves?!

That's why I can't have them in at home but there are always loads here at work calling my name and taunting me all shift

Well it's out of the system now.. So back on it ;)

    Catch up later x

Thanks for the tip, I was wondering how to deal with the sticky bag

Maman Thanks for the warning about too many free foods, I'll try looking at SFs over a whole day too instead of a meal at a time then I will be able to manage with less fruit... I hope!

I'd agree with that. I think it's better to have as much veg as possible for SFs, particularly green veg. Remember it's only my own opinion about the free food and the averaging across a day. My reasoning is that if they advise it for Success Express then it has to be good for weightloss.
Morning! Well done Wiz, I know how hard you try so that is a good loss.

On 15th December we are going to GlenEagles hotel in Scotland. It is a present to my FIL for his 70th birthday. It is a two night stay and I'm really looking forwards to it so am trying really hard to stick to the plan so I can wear my best dress which fits but will look much better if I shift a bit of blubber.
I'll be back later, MM x

    Yes!!!:T well done wiz.

That's a lovely incentive to have MM. I'm still on the look out for a party dress. The M&S one I fancied in the SW magazine still hasn't appeared in the shop of on the website. I'm sick of looking at all the horrid dresses to check if it's come in yet.

I've not tried it but I checked and it is free. Can't be bad as a quick meal. That's just the Sainsbury's one that's free. Others have syns, depending where you buy it.

catcherupper, is this the recipe you used for the pork?

    http://greenthumbzone4me.com/wordpress/honey-glazed-pork-with-mustard-mash-slimming-world/

Did you use star anise? What sort of pork chops? Sounds tasty.:) And so do your salmon recipes lantanna:drool:.

Hope you're enjoying your break shala and sorry to hear about the tummy troubles tie.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEA milk, HEB porage
L: ham, fried veggies and pickles
D: Szechuan beef with peppers, beansprouts and mushrooms
Syns: squirt of syrup, straight to wok noodles, I'm ignoring the tsp of cornflour shared with DH in the sauce.

  • Lunch never went quite to plan. No bread and no sausages! So just had the bacon, beans and egg. Was nice. Feel full enough for now. So will keep my HEB for later! Few syns saved on the sausage too.

    Am my own worst enemy!

It has been drawn, not going to let it affect the rest of my week.. A sneaky jump on the scales (I know! :o) this morning is giving me a gain.. So fishy big lunches are going have to make way for some SF soups for the rest of the week.. Will just have fish for tea ;)
