    My Monday menu plan..:)

    B. Yoghurt, raspberries blueberries, cottage cheese on wholemeal toast B

    L. Ham & egg salad tsp light salad cream 1 syn.

    Snack s/w chips. Strawberries.

    D. Meat and potato pie homemade, carrots, green beans, beetroot.

Supper 2 ryvitas 6 Syns & cottage cheese. Clementine.

    A milk B toast
    7 Syns
    Water, green tea.

I made 12 manderine cheesecakes s/w style and I wondered how many Syns each. The ingredients were... 8 light digestive biscuits, 1 oz butter.
8 oz very low fat cream cheese 1 egg.2 oz Splenda. 1 carton of elmlea cream 1 tin of drained manderine oranges. If anyone knows the syn value for each one, I would be very grateful. I don't know how to calculate. And I hadn't written the recipe down correctly.

Will post my losses mid morning.
    Feeling thinner !!!!!

Shala - Checking in with a +0.25lb that tbh I am a bit miffed about as I've had a very on plan week.

Can only think that either I didn't drink enough at the start of the week or that I had a kingsmill 50/50 thin (4.5 syns) each day at work with some free homemade soup. I've been avoiding bread mostly since I started SW.

Anyway, enough of me having a whinge about a pesky 0.25lb! In the grand scheme of things it's nothing really.

Hope everyone is keeping well & staying on the wagon :D

ETA: Think I'll try some red days this week, see if having a bit less carbs helps

For those who are feeling miserable try to remember its not a diet it's a way of life and to be brutally honest you can either have a little bit extra accept it and move on take a gain IF it happens and keep going
    OR
Stick to it 100% and then fall off spectacularly and struggle to get back
    OR
Accept it as life and life getting in the way sometimes happens

I'm taking a and c as my choices this week and will accept my gain on my double chin as no one should have an Indian, a Chinese and a pub lunch in one week alongside a tube of Pringles in a normal healthy balanced diet :/
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Hi everyone.. Hope your having a good Sunday x

I'm at work but feeling good as been 100% on track all weekend :D

I stay up late and the night time munchies have always been my downfall.. Can be on plan all day then go and blow it with silly binges.. That's why I've stayed the same weight for a year!.. Kidding myself I'm on plan as all meals were SW, I just chose to ignore the evening rubbish I was eating

Not sure how or why but after one mega session and feeling mad and disgusted with myself something just clicked in my head and I'm feeling so motivated at the moment.. By no means perfect but am running with that feeling while it lasts :rotfl:

I don't buy crisps anymore.. No self control with those!.. Buy biscuits I don't like, daughter loves fig rolls :silenced: easy as no little ones here.. Daughter takes her choc etc up to her room..

I have my dessert a little later than usual and am finding having a hifi and options hot choc later in the evening is more than enough to satisfy.. Hope that continues!

Meals today.. More fish, not fed up of it yet :rotfl: http://instagram.com/p/vMJUI9GjUb/

I struggle to have a HEA when not having cereal for breakfast.. Drink black coffee.. Can't drink milk on its own and not feeling hungry to want to nibble on cheese :p

Those meals look fab shala :)

I'm having a go at 'Fishy Week' as been reading the Minimins thread on it and thought its worth a shot! I have psoriasis so should be eating more oily fish to help with my skin anyway so I'm hoping I may be able to help two things at the same time... Going shopping tomorrow night so will prob start from Tues as no fish in at the mo :D

I'm still reading it.. It's a long thread! :rotfl:

Some had great losses and some not so.. Gains too!

Not expecting miracles.. I discovered I quite like smoked salmon.. I'm enjoying my meals and it's helping me be more planned so what ever the scales bring on thurs I'll take it.. Obv a loss will be nice tho :D

    Good luck

Sort of fishy week here too. I am enjoying the fish, And just had a boiled egg with the smoked salmon on a toast. Lovely... I obviously would love a big loss, but with the TOTM just about here, I know I always keep more weight on. I am just enjoying my meals and will take whatever loss I can get.

We went out for a walk last night and OH decided we will stop in a kebab shop as kids were asking for 'Coffee and Cake'. So he ordered kebab, kids decided they wanted pizza and I asked for a cup of tea. Wasn't able to resist as well as I hoped for, so had one bite of OH's kebab and probably 1.5-2 slices of pizza from kids.... Then got home and had a plate of salald and rollmops...

So, today is the day I am hoping to get my new phone... I had my iPhone for over 2 years and have been putting on with the intermittent wifi on it, but for the last 10 days or so I could not get it back at all. So, since the tax man unexpectedly told me I overpaid my tax last year and sent me a lovely cheque, I am going to treat myself to the new iphone. So, the plan is after breakfast go for a run, then go to the shop to get the phone and have a lunch out.

Morning everyone, hope you have a good day:o

    First, hello Pennygrabber:)

Swipernoswiping well done on a great loss! :T

MamamThanks for the warning about too many free foods, I'll try looking at SFs over a whole day too instead of a meal at a time then I will be able to manage with less fruit... I hope!

Shall oho love your pics, will try the gammon chips and salad later in the week.

Now must go and do a meal plan..... Will try to catch up again later
  • Good morning

Thank you for all the stories of late-night eating, and the suggestions to avoid binging at that time.

As I live alone, at least I am able to avoid trigger foods for the most part (I never have just one bag of crisps or one chocolate bar if I have more in the house).

I did a batch cook yesterday so my freezer is nearly full - soup, chicken with lemon and garlic, and honey glazed pork chops.

If anyone has the Extra Easy cookbook I recommend the Honey Glazed pork chop recipe.

    My meal plan for today
    Breakfast - porridge and fruit
Lunch - eggs on toast (I will syn the bread and a swipe of butter)
Dinner - salad, fish and chips (SW recipe)
Snacks - fruit and carrot sticks.
I use my milk allowance in tea through the day.

    Best wishes to everyone.

I am nervous about weigh in tomorrow as over the weekend, I haven't been as good as I would have liked to have been.

Breakfast yesterday was disappointing, bacon medalions, eggy HEB bread and mushrooms. Wished I had stuck with my boiled eggs. Lunch was a bit better, I had a jacket spud which I served with a ratatouille of sorts (leftover from my pasta the other day) and parmesan cheese (HEA)

tea was beef gou lash with a Yorkshire (4 syns) and a few thin chips (more syns!) and savoy cabbage.

I then helped my OH finish off the ice cream and I had half a glass of wine (if that) but I resisted the popcorn I bought and the Mr T man didn't bring my snickers bars (I almost lynched him - ha ha!) so I saved syns there. So not perfect but could have been worse.

Not completely sure on menu today yet.... I've had boiled eggs for breakfast and have a thin (5 syns) filled with sliced beef and English mustard for lunch. I think I fancy sw chips for tea but will see later.

Have a good day all xx
