The burgers are really nice and taste just like the sausages. When I first phoned the SW hotline they said they were free but they have now been changed to 1 syn each but I think they are still worth it as I don't eat much red meat so will def buy them again if they have them in stock
I saw the burgers, but I assumed they were beef & didn't bother with them. Had I realised they were chicken Italian I would have tried them - a bit different.
Well I weighed in for my first week this morning, a 2lb loss. Not loads for the first week, but I have been doing slimfast so I wasn't expecting a big loss.
We went into Costa today & shared those tiny little xmas treats, 3 between two of us, they are about the size of a £2 coin (maybe a bit bigger) actually they are like those mini mince pies you get at xmas & a large skinny latte :-( that was lunch, plus 2 satsumas.
I had a 3 egg omolette for breakfast & a steak strifry for dinner. No rice or noodles. I had the whole bag of stirfry veg.
I guess I could take 6 syns off the skinny latte for a HEa.0 -
I typed out a comment last night and must have closed down the site before I hit enter, grrr.
Thanks to everyone who asked my son is fine now. Bless him.
Shala I have been missed off 3.6lb off
Start my new job on Monday. Tomorrow will mainly involve working what work clothes I have bought fit and which as still to small.0 -

Glad your son is better Tazzy, and well done on the loss.
It's so nice to be able to read posts without having to think I have to rush off somewhere!
Shala-4lb off this week
This week's learning curve: Alcohol sabotages your weight loss plan...:o as do endless parties and lack of planning. (nothing I didn't know already mind you!)

Hello! I'm an old timer on the grocery challenge threads, but today is day one of my healthy eating plan! May I please join you? I have nearly 5 stone to lose, but will be breaking this down into more manageable chunks. I did do sw last year for a few weeks, but came up with excuses to leave... I now just need to sort out my life!
I may/will be hugely annoying at first, asking loads of questions as I reacquaint myself with the plan. Sorry in advance!
PG xGrocery challenge for family of three - me, dd(12) and ds(11), feeding dp 2 or 3 x a week too. Only food, not toiletries. Jan £87.97/£100 Feb £0/£100

Welcome to the thread penny  there's an outline of the plan on post 1 for a refresher if you need it, but ask any questions you likeI think we all learn something or refresh our memories at the same time so I find it helpful....
i know we've had a few new people join us in the last few days but I can't remember everyone's names, I apologise.. But just to let you know, we are currently running a challenge up to the 21st Dec (so 6 weeks left )
It's not compulsory to join but some people find it helpful to have a target to aim for, if you wish to join then just let me know your target weight loss for the next 6 weeks and I can add you to the list..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Awesome! Thanks for the warm welcome everyone xx
I think if there are six weeks left, I'll aim for 9 lbs. that would take me comfortably into the next stone bracket, and mean that my current clothes will fit better!!
