CountingPennies wrote: »Evening all.... Haven't been online since 30th. Been quite poorly but on the mend now. Anyway.... over 20 pages to catch up on. Never gonna be able to do it (very tired all the time) so I can I just say I hope you are all well. Well done to everyone losing, for those not, keep on trying!
Obviously I haven't been weighed, but there is no way I will have lost weight. Spent a lot of time in bed, on lots of different meds and basically eating whatever I fancy (most of the time rubbish). I suffer from bouts of poor health, and its been a while since I was like this, so I dread to think how much I've gained.
Anyway.... just popping in to say i'm back on it on Sunday once i've been to get weighed to assess the damage. Gonna read back through the plan tomorrow and do some meal planning.
Hope I am welcome back. Sorry I haven't been to update.
Missed you all!!

Just seen a post earlier this evening on FB in relation to the syns in the heck chicken italia burgers. The person who posted it has contacted SW Head Office to check if they were free and they advised that SWHO said that they are 1 syn each due to the nutritional make up.
I've had a look for them in Tesco this evening but no luckWill check another store tomorrow but gonna guess that it'll be a while before we get them. If any other NI peeps spot them please post

If it's not too late, can I still be added to the slinky for Santa challenge please. I haven't a clue how I'll make the font bigger or red, but I'll worry about that when I've got a loss to report! I'm on an iPad so does that do such fancy things? I'm not the slightest bit technology minded so I might take a while to get used to it all. Can I say 8 lb please shala.Thank you.
Welcome bunty. I've put your target in red to help shala.:)CountingPennies wrote: »Anyway.... just popping in to say i'm back on it on Sunday once i've been to get weighed to assess the damage. Gonna read back through the plan tomorrow and do some meal planning.

Of course you are CP, good to see you and so sorry to hear you've been poorly and definitely nothing to apologise for. The website is still saying half a syn per sausage so if you allowed 1 syn each you'd be safe. Are they a bit like chicken frankfurters?
Pleased with myself tonight. I cut right back on my weekend wine syns to try and claw back those I'd had yesterday. Still doesn't excuse yesterday but it could have been worse.;)0 -

Morning lovelies
Welcome bunty and welcome back CP, sorry to hear you've been ill but glad you are on the mend.
Yesterday was a better day food wise, although syns could definitely have been better. Must try harder.
I never did get to making the cabbage, sausage & bean casserole although I'll try and do that recipe at some point as it sounds nice. Yesterday I cooked up a load of veg with some herbs and spices, and wrapped it up in cabbage leaves with some sliced quorn chicken fillet. Bit more of the veg sauce over it and an HEA of low fat mozzarella on top.
I enjoyed it and hubby was very impressed. It turns out that cabbage is another one of the foods he's not keen on eating as his mum always served up overboiled cabbage as a side dish and he hated it :rotfl:
I saw a couple of people I've known for years this week and they were commenting on my weight loss (I'm getting a lot better at taking a compliment and talking about SW!). One said I didn't have anything left to lose? I'm still overweight and quite clearly so in my mind, no idea where she got that idea from! I want a BMI in the healthy weight range. Going from obese to overweight is really good but I'm not quitting until I'm there

Thanks maman, I slept straight through for 12 hours:eek: luckily I have the whole week off work :j:j so I should be alright now... x
CP - welcome back, sorry to hear you've been poorly.
Bunty - will add you to the challenge later, thanks for joining inand thanks maman for doing the edit
Crabapple - it's nice when people notice your efforts,:T I think sometimes people don't know what to say incase they say the wrong thing IYKWIM.. Then they say the wrong thing anyway :rotfl:
Saw the Heck chicken burgers on Facebook yesterday, they looked nice and are 1 syn. Tesco says they have them and they're a special price of £2, but not sure what the normal price is anyway.
Not sure what we're eating today, food was abysmal yesterday I barely ate anything, but what I did eat was not particularly on plan..although not unhealthy..
Be back later with the chart and some sort of plan for my day...Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hi all. Could I please join in? I have lost 7lb over the last two weeks with my local slimming world group, but have fallen off the wagon this week, which is typical of me.
I have promised myself that I will go back to group (another unhelpful behaviour is quitting as soon as I think I'm going to put on weight).0
