Morning everybody. Was hoping to read through all I've missed this week but only managed the last page so far. Wow, some great losses. Pleased to report 1.5lbs loss this week. Has helped that there was nothing sweet in the house to tempt me. Oh, apart from the emergency Crunchie but that went early on. Have a great weekend everybody.Jan 2024 GC £287.21/£350

Fishy meal #1 in the bag and it was a very nice change from my usual weetabix or porridge for breakfast!

Long work weekend for me, am going well prepared so I don't get tempted to make do and eat rubbish!0 -
Hope the painkillers are working lantanna and hope you're OK lush, you sounded a bit down in the dumps for you.:)
Thank you for thinking of me maman; I wasn't having the best day yesterday. I got a funny response to my application for that job (basically "we don't think you're right for this job but we want to have an informal first interview with you anything just in case/we may have something more suited for you" :S) and bf and i argued before work and then again at lunch (and again when I got home)But I haven't really been taking care of myself either; not eating right so that was a big reason for coming back as I know SW works and helps me feel tons better in myself, and generally neglecting me at huge expense. Had a big talk with bf and he's going to help more and encourage me to have me-time etc so fingers crossed I pick up
Struggling with motivation to eat at all today! been up since 6.20 but still haven't eaten; no idea what to have and i need to go to town and pick up bf's last birthday present and some steraliser bags for the weekend as I can't find ours!
Think I'm going to force an omelette down so that I'm not running on empty.
I weighed again today to check yesterday's result and its showing a 1lb loss but don't know if I should declare it :S
Going to get my omelette and have a cuppa then get wonder bairn dressed and take a quick trip to town and hopefully be back around teh same time as bf as I only need two shops************************************

More good losses already today!:T
FE, you sound in a much better place. I know you've had very samey meals but they're SW meals and you've planned them. That's an excellent start as the scales are starting to show.:)
Glad you've got that filling sorted crabapple but hope it doesn't encourage you to eat more.;)
To add to the fish debate, DH and I used to have kippers for breakfast quite often but that's lapsed. We had the boil in the bag ones (but microwaved). I'd count them as almost free as there's just a tiny pat of butter shared between two.
Glad to hear you sounding perkier lush. I think that response to your application sounds good as they haven't rejected you out of hand so you must have said something right on your application. You're so right that some time to yourself (obviously including healthy eating) is essential and good to hear that BFs going to do his share. Now you can drive, what about taking yourself off for a swim or a bit of pampering (hair, nails etc) or just a mooch around the shops and leave wonderbairn with her dad.
I'm about to do my meal plan for the week so don't know today's full menu yet. Had SW breakfast (baked beans on HEB toast), probably have beef and vegetable soup for lunch (trying to use it up so I can buy gammon and make ham and lentil). Dinner, we'll see.0 -
Absolutely foul weather here so did not go to market for fruit I hate going to Asda for it unless its reduced, but was pleased to find pineapple 69p, satsumas bag of 8 for 75p and bag of small pears 7 for 59p. at proper price and a bag of 10 bananas reduced 30p and grapes
75p, total 3.08 plenty of fruit for breakfasts and snacks for the week.
Huge pot of chicken and veg soup on the go and plenty in the freezer so am all set for a stay in weekend now.
Some great losses again this week, pleased to see Lush has sorted her me time and hope lantana not in as much pain.Slimming World at target0 -
Hi, can I join you please? I have done SW a few times before, and joined a group again last week. I found this thread and it looks like you are very motivated so I hope some of that enthusiasm can brush off on to me!0

I have tried the Swartz slow cooker chicken curry and it is very nice and also freezes well.
I also made the sausage and bean soup from the SW magazine but left out the kale. I used the Heck chicken Italia sausages as they are only 0.5 syn each and this soup is yummy and very filling.
I am trying the Heck chicken Italia burgers tonight as they are Free
TraceyOfficially debt free :j0
