Well done jockos!!!!!
No problem! My meeting has been postponed until this afternoon....
We have loads of mugs, spoons, plates, everything really... I can see my mug sitting on the colleague's desk as her office is directly across the corridor from mine and we have glass doors! So, if I turn my head I can see my mug with 'Hot Chocolate' written around it sitting on her desk. From today on, it is not going in dishwasher and is sitting either on my desk or in my cupboard!!!!! (Sorry, still fuming... But have no courage to go and ask for it back, especially as I do not speak German!!!!)
I always used to have this problem... but I think I solved it by using a mug with "The Women's Tour" on it (a cycling event that happened last year). No one has nicked it so far...
I think it may be because it had the word "women" on it.Keep reading books!

Thank you for all the stories of late-night eating, and the suggestions to avoid binging at that time.
As I live alone, at least I am able to avoid trigger foods for the most part (I never have just one bag of crisps or one chocolate bar if I have more in the house).
I did a batch cook yesterday so my freezer is nearly full - soup, chicken with lemon and garlic, and honey glazed pork chops.
If anyone has the Extra Easy cookbook I recommend the Honey Glazed pork chop recipe.
My meal plan for today
Breakfast - porridge and fruit
Lunch - eggs on toast (I will syn the bread and a swipe of butter)
Dinner - salad, fish and chips (SW recipe)
Snacks - fruit and carrot sticks.
I use my milk allowance in tea through the day.
Best wishes to everyone.
Have to agree that its so much easier when you live alone, I just don't buy biscuits cakes sweets, chocolates or crisps anymore because I would just eat the lot. I do buy a treat or two for my DGD when he stays on Friday night but make sure now that he takes any left over home with him.
My trigger for night time munching is boredom I think as since I have been busy crafting for Christmas fair I have not done this. I do save my healthy extras for evening though and think this has helped.Slimming World at target0 -
Morning,
Such a lot to catch up on!
Thanks for all the get better wishes! Still sore but nowhere near as bad as it was! Being hit with a stinking cold at the same time didn’t help either. Lots of sleep and feel sorry for myself foods over the weekend – sadly - I'll not even elaborate!! but back on it now!
Well done Mich City – your meals on Instagram look amazing and are certainly reminding me that I need to up the superfrees!
Maman – You deserve a little curry night every once in a while - trust me! :T I can only get big bars of 70 % chocolate - which is very very dangerous!!! Especially the one I get in Lidl with Orange - yum, I love how heavy it is and sit banging the squares off each other to hear the lovely noise it makes – how sad is that - actually it sounds quite bizarre lol. :rotfl:
Flat Eric – I haven’t had Peanut Butter in ages either but I have promised myself some when I hit target!! In America you can buy 25g of it in little pots which would be fab – of course here it’s a bit fat jar of it or nothing and I find it very hard to exercise any self control with it!!
Lush – Please do look after yourself, it is so difficult to get a job of any sort right now and you’ve got to just not take these things at all personally. Sometimes jobs can be lined up for internal candidates and recruitment just a tick box exercise – I would also take it as a positive and go and see what they have to say – you never know it might be something that would work out better for you. I had went through a very very strange recruitment exercise in September – phone calls from New York etc for a job in Belfast they were all over me like a rash and then I never heard from them again!! It happens to us all – I take these things with a pinch of salt now and think ah well if that’s how they behave I wouldn’t want to work for them anyway! Try spending a little time each day doing something you enjoy or doing something relaxing just for you even a warm bath or a walk on your own if you can - it all builds up and will help you feel a little better! Even meal planning might help?:grouphug:
I love all this talk of fish!! Lol :heart2:
Went to the big Tesco on Saturday and stocked up on all my budget items, rice, stock cubes, passata, beans for throwing into things etc. The Pennies are tight til Christmas really needed to get the cupboards full with the basics to keep me on track – I can pick up cheap veg and fruit as and when now. Roll on Christmas bonus time!!!
Lauri254 – Definitely not seen those sausages!! It will be no doubt 2 years after everyone else by the time that we get them if at all!!
My getting to target and Christmas treat to myself will be a leather type jacket! I had a lovely black one last year from Asda none the less a bargain at £25 and one of the nicest I have seen but at a size 16 it is sadly too big for me and has been given to a friend. So that’s my motivation!
Shala – Lucky you having a week off – very jealous – enjoy chum!
Lordduke – Different things I put on salmon before I put it in the oven are – soy sauce & fresh lime, balsamic vinegar, chilli flakes & low fat soft cheese. I generally wrap it up in greaseproof paper and add cherry tomatoes, pickles, mushrooms - sugar snap peas etc and let it all cook together. Lovely actually haven’t done this in a while – so must get onto it! I can’t wait until the offers for a whole side of salmon start to appear for Christmas I’ll be in my element as I do really really love it and seafood linguine is my fave with fresh rocket and great for using salmon leftovers!
Penny Grabber - If I can do it trust me you can do it!!
Mildredd - lol you do not have a double chin! We will both be accepting gains this week but will be at target before Christmas!!
Got to get my sorry backside to the gym tonight - won't be doing my flat belly class due to my neck sadly but I can at least walk on the treadmill for a bit - need to do something before I return to being a lump of lard lol !

Well, I wasn't at work since Wednesday, I am off until Wednesday, so I plan to come in extra early and reclaim my mug. The 'Women's' thing wouldn't work, as there a lot of ladies inthe office, and I think this particular one would quite like it as she is bigger size lady and to 'pretend' she did the cycling event might even give her a boost of feel good!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Good morning everyone.:D and Shala I have lost..... 1lb I don't know why it won't change colour. HELP !
I am happier this week I just wish it was a little bit more. But I know I shouldn't grumble I am eating well and I do have some treats. I also realise that with what I'm eating, even staying the same isn't that bad.
Yippee!:T :T0 -

Dear lord, is this really what people are at these days - stealing mugs??0 -
Morning all
Congrats to those with losses :T
I'm pretty sure thanks to teeth, my generally cheerful and smiley little boy has been replaced with a demon child who has cried at me for much of the last 24 hoursLooks like the poor little man is trying to cut all four top incisors at the same time
Anyhow, on the food front I've been doing better. Not perfect and yesterday something set off major guts grumbles and I didn't have any dinner cos I couldn't face it. Hoping it was just a blip and nothing serious - pain had mostly gone by the evening so I managed to get what little sleep little man allowed.
This talk of fish week is completely lost on me as I've been veggie for 25 years or so! I think I'll stick with Green plan
I've had my branflakes for breakfast (enjoying having those back now I'm not worried about getting them stuck in the hole my filling had left!). Lunch will probably be pasta and cheese for the children so I'll chop up some veg to have with a few pasta twirls. Dinner - I'm going to create something out of the veg I have in the fridge. Not sure what that will be but full of superfrees:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning! Well done Wiz, I know how hard you try so that is a good loss.
I'm making the lemon chicken from the latest hairy dieters book for tea and will report back later on how it is.
In other news, I'm spending my day off scrubbing my house. I have done my oven with oven pride (new product to me) and will rinse it off this aft. Dogs need a decent walk so I'm hoping the fog lifts and I'll get off with them.
On 15th December we are going to GlenEagles hotel in Scotland. It is a present to my FIL for his 70th birthday. It is a two night stay and I'm really looking forwards to it so am trying really hard to stick to the plan so I can wear my best dress which fits but will look much better if I shift a bit of blubber.
I'll be back later, MM x0 -
