Haven't been around much over the weekend and didn't manage to read much either. Have just had a quick scan over the last few pages.
Have been at my DD1s all morning waiting in the for gas people to service her boiler. They finally turned up at 11.45 and were there for about 3/4 hour.
Having another EE day although probably not enough SFs really:
B - banana
L - ham salad sandwich
D - pulled pork - currently in SC. Will have with some wedges and more salad
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - bread
Syns: butter 2.5; not sure what else but have about 10 syns a day for today until Wednesday.

I got rather wet walking home this evening so I'm still warming up. I have my tea cooking, sw chips, gammon steak, eggs and Mediterranean roasted veg. I'm looking forward to it. I resisted the office treats today so felt :A0

Mich!!!!!! FOUR bags????? Stay away from the aisles fro mnow on!
I am feeling strange today, I didn't think I ate taht much today, but I was strugling with the dinner and felt so full at the end, that the glass of water I tried to drink seemed to be more than the remaining space in my stomach!
I am worried, because I really did not think I had a lot today, but if twhat I had is a lot, then I really need to think more what I eat and keep a note of it all!
So, tell me what you think:
B: two soft boiled eggs, slice of bread with smoked salmon, slice of bread with a smear of jam. A cup of coffee with milk. At about 8 am
BM: Half an hour run at 9:30 am.
L: a bowl of tom kha soup with 2 (TWO) prawns, 2 rolls of rice (I think) paperthin wraps (the size is sligthly bigger than the chinese pancakes, but basically transparent and you really cannot fill a lot in them as they are super weak) with a little bit of duck breast, carrot, bean sprouts, rice noodles, coriander, mint, 2/3 of tablespoon of hoisin souce; fresh mint tea with 1/2 tbs of honey at about 1:30-2pm
Cafe au lait and vanilla eclair at about 3:30pma bowl of speed soup. Made cooked apples in the oven (scooped out the seeds, added some raisins and a sprinkle of cinamon), but really could not face it. Had just skin, as was getting them ready for children to eat, but that is it...

I finally did some cooking that my husband hated so much he spat it out! Turns out mashed carrot and swede reminded him too much of school dinners and he couldn't eat it :rotfl:
The quorn turkey steaks with broccoli, green beans and a garlic mushroom sauce went down well though (and I like carrot & swede mash!).
I just fried some mushrooms and garlic in frylight with a bit of ground black pepper, then when the pan had cooled a little added some low fat soft cheese to make it a sauce.
WI tomorrow. Miss Slinky as well - not sure whether to just weigh and run in case I get put forward:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hi ginvzt - Not sure how many syns you are allowing each day, but it looks like today's menu had quite a few (I'm sure Maman or someone will correct me if I'm wrong). I think rice pancakes will be quite high in syns as will the vanilla eclair, cafe au lait & hoisin sauce,
When I first started trying to lose weight I did not think I ate very much, but recently have come to the conclusion my portion sizes are just too big. This was emphasized even more whilst I was away for a few days recently. The meals served at the hotel seemed rather sparce but then it dawned on me that perhaps this was what 'normal' looked like! Since then I have been concentrating on portion control. I am using myfitnesspal to log everything I eat, it logs calories which I know isn't SW way but it helps me to see when I am eating too much, so I know when to stop.
I do hope you don't find this too critical as I'm hoping it will be helpful.Weight loss 0/2st

evening all,
I'm back, tournament weekend has finished; syns have been consumed but line drawn. Today was bf's birthday so there has been a few more treats but it's back on plan tomorrow.
Bf's middle brother and his gf (going to stat calling her the sil as she's really matured recently and acts like a grown up now and is nice!) have invited us round for tea but she's on SW too so winner! That means that tomorrow should look something like:
Breakfast: HeB cereal plus SS milk (from HeA) plus an orange
elevensies: cup of tea (milk from HeA) plus an apple or banana
lunch: pumpkin soup followed by melon chunks (if I get chance to cut the melon up tonight/in the morning! if not it will be an apple)
tea: lasagne as made by sil plus salad - also syns on a glass of wine so won't have any other syns during the day
Going to hammer the fluids tomorrow as I get so dehydrated at league weekends I feel rough for days after! (limited fluids plus dry air and no natural lights for entire days) the scales are showing a little gain but a weekend of increased carbs and limited fluid will do that so hoping to shift that and get a sts by Friday
Going to take a walk on my lunch from work too to get out in the fresh air and stretch/clear my head as its set to be another heavy week in the office
right then...onwards and downwards (i hope!)************************************
