How do you do tuna cucumber cups mumoftwo?
Mix tuna with sweet corn and some ff from age frais and vlf mayo, pepper or some chili. Cut big chunks of cucumber, hollow out a bit and scoop the tuna in. I thought nice small individual snacks would be good to take.
Thanks for the tips of what not to take0 -

They sound great Mumoftwo - I'd definitely try one.

Lunch - Salad, ham, new potatoes and a sundried tomato (1 syn?) followed by a banana
Dinner - Meditteranean cod tray bake

Did want to say, Lantanna, if going to class tonight is going to make you feel bad then i personally wouldn't bother going. Try really hard this week to get to a place you are happy with before going back next week.. but if you need to go to keep you on track then still go, i'm not advocating not going to class
xx
Incidentally meg, why is it you don't want to lose any weight before Christmas? I'd have thought being right at the bottom end of your target range would be good going into the festivities. I love the image of your door covered in fivers!:DI am 5ft 9 maman and have just noted this well done :T:T:T. Can I ask what size clothes you are now please ?
I'm a size 12 which is just about right for my height. Any less and I'd be in the underweight range on charts. Virtually all size 12s fit me and many size 10s but that depends on the brand and style.Oh, was meant to ask: consultant said it will be taster week next week so am thinking of ideas. It will be hard at take anything hot, so was thinking tuna cucumber cups? Would people like that, do you think? Anyone got any good ideas that has gone down well with the group?
Agree about little bite size things and those cucumber cups sound tasty. Taster weeks never go down well at my group mainly because it's 9.30 in the morning so picking at small things just for a taste is the best way forward rather than meals. Some people just bring a packet of their favourite low syn snacks or cook some low syn sausages. It's a good idea to be able to taste things like that before you buy them.
mich, I think I'd buy a cheap pack of smoked salmon trimmings. They're nice on a salad or stirred into cottage cheese on a JP too.
I've see frozen Yellow Fin Sole filets in Aldi. Anyone tried them?
I've had my SW breakfast (HEB porage, HEA milk) will report on the rest of the day as it happens.;)
ETA: :Twell done blinkered, getting close to your next shiny now.
denise, I'd cope with a half loss. I feel as if I'm gaining.:(0 -
Any good slow cooker recipes?
My consultant has recommended a Schwarzer Slow Cooker Curry, chicken, potatoes and spinach in it, only 4 syns for the whole lot. So giving it a go tonight0 -

Maman its because I don't want to pay the fee until after Christmas. if I lose 1.1/2lb that's my 3lb under, then I must either put it back on, which I don't want to do or reset and start paying
so am just trying to STS. If I save the £5 a week I will have £45

Hello, rainy here today, but really can’t complain as it’s been dry and mild for a good few days.
Well done, Denise and blinkered. Every gram counts.
Thanks Beanie.
Ah ha, ginvzt! That’s the one I found but I thought it was wrong ‘cos it was 2010. And as you say, there wasn’t a plan as such. I’ll have a better read at it later.
Mich, If I’m buying smoked salmon to put in a recipe, eg with scrambled egg or fish pie, I just get this one –It’s £1.49 for 120g. And it’s more or less ready chopped!

Reporting a STS for this week
I won't talk about my food for the day...today is not a good day on the whole (though a couple of bits have been really good on a professional level its all a bit cruddy on a personal one) so I've not many any good choices. Back on it as best I can tomorrow though

Not a salmon fan but thinking I could manage it mixed in scrambled egg for a brekkie or lunch.. Daft question but what would be the best to buy for that.. The thin cut raw stuff or one you can flake into it?
I was going to say the same as others - smoked salmon trimmings, cheap, perfect for scrambled eggs and very tasty!!!!!
I went to meet OH for lunch and we went to KFC. But!!!!! I was very good and brought my own salad with sprats from the tin (ok, they were in oil, I drained as much oil as I could, so a few syns there but don't think many). I only bought a half cob (no extra butter) and a coffee there (which for some reason tasted of chocolate?!). Was thinking to get a biscuit, but then there was a long queue, luckily and I didn't!!!! :A Had a banana when I got home instead!
I stopped in the shop and got some more fish... Halibut was on offer, so we are having that for dinner with roast veg. Got a swordfish filet to share with OH one day, a whole smoked mackarel for 1.50 euro!!!!! So, I think I am going to try and have as many fish meals until next weigh in as I can manage, will see what it does for me...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
