Meg, I have a plastic pineapple cutter and I like that, but stainless steel looks fab. Does it have the 3 different sized cutters? Love your Christmas treat idea.
Hi, minted, pull up a comfy chair and have a blether.
Ginvzt, I love fish. Do you have a link to the fish week info? I also love lamb!
Oh beanie, is that the risotto from the magazine? I’m having it tomorrow.
Lantanna ( and others), some people are just thoughtless and inconsiderate – and most probably jealous. They are of no consequence (but, I know, they are still hurtful).
Well I stuck to plan again today. Additional syns for 1 choc digestive (4), 2 Werthers (2) so I’ll have a “proper” chocolate biscuit of some kind (6), so with the 1 I’d planned, that makes 13 syns altogether.
Thursday’s Menu
Breakfast: scrambled egg with smoked salmon (leftover from tonight)
Lunch: prawn mayo jacket with salad stuff
Dinner: SW bacon & pea risotto (1.5)
Ha ha ginvzt, I've just realised I'm being quite fishy without any effort!
Let’s hold it together tomorrow, everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

I've had one of those 'could have been worse' days!
SW breakfast (A Shreddies with B milk) and light supper of JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and beetroot. We had a lovely forest walk this morning and ended with pub lunch. Had a small glass of wine and quiche with salad. Quiche was obviously home made and delicious, lots of filling and not much pastry. Ate far too much coleslaw.:o
Tomorrow we're going to see Mr Turner. DH suggested that as my meal plan has been very messed up this week (ended up having Thursday's dinner on Tuesday when in laws came unexpectedly) we could go out for a meal after the cinema.
I have a good social life and I enjoy it but it's oh so hard to keep on plan at the same time.
Oh well, moan over. I'm not feeling fat so hoping for the best.:D
Sounds like you're trying hard to fit the plan into your weekend too lush.
minted, I'm 5ft 9 and I've stayed in my target range around 10 st 7 for just over 3 years. It can be done!;) I'd suggest just aiming for small targets as you go along and just keep the 10st 7 in the back of your mind for when you get closer.
I love the idea of eating fish all week but the cost and DH's preferences put me off. DH doesn't like salmon or seafood and I CBA to make two lots of meals. I might get some prawns to have with JPs for lunches. I buy the cheap(er) frozen fish too and it's tasty enough but what I really enjoy is a big ,thick piece of smoked cod or haddock loin. At £15-£20 per kg that's a lot to spend.:(

morning
Went to see Riverdance last night, my girls had bought me tickets for Christmas last year. Usually we take crisps, chocolate and other munch for the journey and stop at Mc D on the way home. But I had planned in advance so had 4 winegums (3syns) and a packet of quavers (4.5 s) while out and had my HEb (2 slices of toast with laughing cow light) when I got in. Feel very :A
Thanks Meg for the tip about Iceland. Not been there for years. I knows we have a Farmfoods, will have to have a nosey to see if we still have an Iceland. That has always been one good thing in my life, I love vegetables and eat plenty of it, shame I have been eating so much other cr*p as well:rotfl:
Not sure about menu for today yet, it will be something with chicken. I did make a meal plan and I know its burgers and chips tomorrow, everyone loves that in this house, will make coleslaw and do chips in the actifry.
I better get a move on, it is freezing here this morning....0 -
Freezing here too! Had to drive DH to work at 6 this morning so that I can have the car to get to group. Can only weigh and go this morning as need to do shopping and have to pick DH up just after 11 for a hospital appointment.
Having an EE day today:
B - banana after WI
L - not sure but think we may have an all day breakfast in the cafe near the hospital (they do a SW friendly breakfast for £3!); if not it'll be a ham salad sandwich when we get home
D - HM beef bourgignon, mash, carrots & cabbage (3 syns for wine in it - used about half bottle)
HEA - milk as usual
HEB - bread
Syns - 3 in beef bourginon; not sure what else but there's still popcorn left, LOL!

Morning lovelies
Cold here too, don't want to go outside although at least it is bright. Children have their photos at nursery today so I'm trying to make them look respectable

Line being drawn under yesterdayToday I will be good. With any luck my tooth is being fixed this afternoon (at least a temp filling) so that will help things a little.
I didn't get the sausage and cabbage thing made yesterday as my mum was here and then just as she was about to leave my MIL and BIL turned up, so all was a bit too busy to cook. Threw some potatoes in the oven instead.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning..
just had a really quick skim read again so apologies for not replying to everyone - i'll go back over the posts tomorrow to pick up all your results..
Busy week at work should be over tomorrow and then i'm holiday for a week :j:j can't wait..
Woke up this morning with a cold sore, headache and my skin hurts so i'm thinking i'm coming down with somethingwhinge, whinge, whinge :rotfl: i'm had a berocca and some paracetemol so hopefully that will ward it off!!
Did want to say, Lantanna, if going to class tonight is going to make you feel bad then i personally wouldn't bother going. Try really hard this week to get to a place you are happy with before going back next week.. but if you need to go to keep you on track then still go, i'm not advocating not going to class
Right best get on with some work, it won't do itself will it!

Well, I am´not sure we are allowed to post links to other forums, but if you put in Google "SW My fishy week!", you will find it straight away. There is no set plan or anything, just eat fish with as many meals as you can manage. Most fish is speed or super speed food, so it does make sense that if you replace all your meat with fish.
It feels cold here too. I have a day off today, so I am still in pyjama... OH took kids to nursery, and he is off for his CV/job search course, and tomorrow he has an interview, but we have a big train driver strike here from early this morning until Monday, so he will have to drive, in good traffic it is about 3 hour drive, but who knows what will be tomorrow with everyone in the cars! And we have St Martins celebrations at nursery tomorrow. We had to pre-order our pretzels and sausages, and I decided I will have a pretzel, but not a sausage, that will be my treat for the day. Just hope OH can come back from his interview in time for the celebrations!
Menu today:
B: Quark with yogurt and berries, a small slice of bread with smear of jam and another spread
L: not sure to have soup or jacket potato with prawnsstruggling with that.. Maybe we could have some fish with veg.
It actually looks sunny outside - so maybe I should be brave and get out for a bit of a run?.. Feeling very cosy on the sofa under the blanket though....Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
