Hi all.. Had a day off today so been catching up with housework..:o

Made a batch of soup for lunches.. Creamed carrot and beetroot from the little book.. Lovely! http://instagram.com/p/vBZ1rSGjXN/

Like the idea of the fish.. Just not fishy fish :rotfl: it's good value frozen in Aldi, especially the prawns! ;)

Tea: chilli with broccoli instead of rice.. http://instagram.com/p/vBtnK8GjWZ/ WI tomorrow so keeping the carbs low.. Interesting about bananas earlier.. I have one every day for brekkie and sometimes with dessert in the evening too. Eat very little bread.. Might knock them out for a while and see if any difference on the scales!

I'm scared for class tomorrow - I feel like everyone takes delight when I have a gain just coz I have done so well : ( and some of them are a bit jealous.

I've really hurt my neck and shoulder - just sitting at my desk yesterday and I'm feeling sorry for myself really.

Roll on the weekend - I'm cleaning, going to the gym (fingers crossed I can by then) and making a nest with films and eating lots of superfrees!!

I think I know where you are coming from lantanna - this week in class I gained a whole 1lb and several commented 'What YOU have put weight on ?, what have you been doing?' etc - yes little ol' me has had a gain!. I felt as though I had to justify it - no I hadn't been stuffing myself with all sorts of naughties etc. I felt narked off enough with the gain without having to listen to that.

B: GF cereal & BD milk. Tea with milk.
L: Speed soup. Forest fruits. Tea with milk.
D: Campfire stew, mashed potato (2 butter), cabbage.

    S: DF chocolate (2), Cocoa.

I no longer have an electric slow cooker so just cooked the stew on the slow setting on my gas cooker. I also tweaked it, I replaced the peppers with butternut squash as I'm intolerant to them and added some more superfrees.

I work in school kitchen so when in work if any veg left from service I bring a bowl full home to have with my tea ;).

I buy the frozen steamed veg 4 bags in a packet. When I go shopping I look if they have any fresh whoopsied for the same night or night after. Living on my own I find the steam packets are great.

I have looked at the steamed veg but they seem to me to be expensive you get 640 grams for around 1.50 but for 1.78 I get
1 bag of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots and one bag of green beans from Iceland, 900 grams each and portion up, this gives me 1.800
grams almost a third of the price. I like the convenience of just popping a bag in the microwave or steamer.

The pineapple cutters are great I got mine because problems with my hands has made using knives difficult if not dangerous, I bought a plastic one but it wasn't very good and then bought one of these which is really good.
