Great idea Meg!! Fingers crossed I'll get to keep my fivers soon as well - not looking like anytime soon thought with the way things are going !

Hi Minted welcome - well done for coming back and nipping things in the bud as such. We are a friendly bunch and you will find loads of help and support here.

My target is 10.6 and I am 5.5. I was there was 7 weeks and then starting gaining again. Currently hovering around 11 stone I think. Hoping to hit target very soon before I lose the plot with this.

I really can't be one of these people who loses all the weight and then puts it all back on again! : ( I think I'd have to leave the village lol
  • Hi All!

Congratulations to those who weighed in yesterday and lost weight. It’s weigh in day for me tonight so I’ve got my fingers crossed, though it’s my star week so frankly anything could happen :undecided

Here’s my meal plan for today:
Breakfast – Banana, fat free yogurt
Lunch – Salad with leftover spicy rice and some chicken breast chunks followed by a packet of Butterkist toffee popcorn (5 syns)
Dinner – Tagliatelle with bacon, onion and courgette in a creamy sauce made from Philadelphia light (HEA), a bit of stock and some herbs topped with a sprinkle of parmesan (1.5 syns)
Snacks – Plum, Satsuma, salted caramel Hifi bar (HEB) and maybe a Aero biscuit bar (5 syns)

Ok, has anyone tried fish week? I just saw it on another forum, and there seems to be some amazing results? I love fish, so may give it a go some time soon. Basically fish is included in as many meals as possible, still following SW plan. Lantanna, if you like fish - maybe worth a try?

Well, on the thread I was reading people were losing 3-5lbs (ok, I have not finished the whole thread) after hitting the plateau, the lady that started the thread lost 8lb on the first week and 4lb on the second week (I am not sure I could manage 2 weeks in a row of fish, mainly because it is so expensive here!!!!!)

I love fish!!! I usually have salmon once a week and tuna once a week.

I'm having prawns tonight actually - fish is blooming expensive - in fact everything is so expensive lol but fish is definitely more expensive than it used to be.

I'm scared for class tomorrow - I feel like everyone takes delight when I have a gain just coz I have done so well : ( and some of them are a bit jealous.

I've really hurt my neck and shoulder - just sitting at my desk yesterday and I'm feeling sorry for myself really.

Roll on the weekend - I'm cleaning, going to the gym (fingers crossed I can by then) and making a nest with films and eating lots of superfrees!!

Great, maybe you want to try the fish week then... I know it is expensive, but in the UK you can find it cheaper - frozen, in the market (near where we used to live we could by a whole salmon for 10 pounds at the end of the market day - It costs 20-30 euros a kg here!)

 Oh No I had just decided to use up reduced fish in freezer as have quite a lot of it, mainly because I bought a lot for DD as well but they aren't eating as much fish now and didn't want it, but I am trying to maintain so don't want to lose any weight until after Christmas, so what do I add to it, bread and butter, batter deep fried chips, trouble is I don't want to start those old habits again.

Sod it I a going to have my fish week and a few extra treats, the n next week if I think I have lost or put on I wont go to WI :rotfl:

Trying to maintain is much more faff than I thought it would be.
