Brill loss Greentiger:T - I don't have a result for you for last week, is that right?

Mich - that's a novel idea for a notebook. I love a good bit of stationery but I wouldn't want to write in it in case it messed it up :D

Ohh can't wait for my Christmas book, should hopefully get it Thursday as I signed up to a 12 week countdown last week - have to get my two free weeks otherwise it's just not MSE :rotfl:

Mildredd - how exciting.. you'll look a million dollars :D

Here's the final chart for last week..

Our SOTW is racking up trophies tonight - Annie take a bow!!:j:T:j:T:j:T

SOTW - person who lost most this week, whilst also losing or STS the week previous

I'm missing a few results for last week - let me know if you want me to fill it in for you..

Maman, thanks for the couscous syns. I really like these.

Pastmysellby - Clootie Dumpling Scones – will be fruit & spice flavoured. I suppose it’s a bit like Christmas pudding. A clootie dumpling is a big fruit dumpling boiled in a cloth (cloot) – if water got in, it was ruined. Traditionally, in Scotland, we had clootie dumpling as a special occasion treat, ie at Christmas or birthdays. I never had a birthday cake. Lucky coins were cooked in it too – when I was wee, these were silver threepennies. Does anyone remember Hallowe’en cakes having cucky charms in them? Although it started out as a sweet, any leftover dumpling was sliced, fried and served with bacon, eggs, black pudding etc.

Mildredd, you’ll look fab at the ball.

mich, I can recommend getting a pineapple cutter and a mango cutter. I like those notebooks too – I think “The Enormous Turnip” might be a good choice for us on SW but “Pinocchio” might be more appropriate for me, lol.

    Well done, Annie.

Shala, I missed out on posting last week. It was a STS, I’m afraid. Thanks for keeping on top of things.

Well, I was fairly well behaved, SW-wise, today. Breakfast and lunch on plan, with banana added. Carvery was reasonable – ham, carrots, leeks, cauli, onions in gravy, mash, Yorkshire pudding, cranberry sauce. NO PUDDING! I did have a wee cake with cinder toffee after the fireworks. And hexa 2 mini babybel light (all I had left) and grapes for supper.

    Wednesday’s Menu
Breakfast: hexb muesli with ff yogurt and apple slices
Lunch: bean & chicken salad, Shape 0% fat yogurt
Dinner: smoked salmon & courgette spaghetti (1 syn)

That’s all for now. See you all tomorrow, bright eyed and bushy tailed :)

Aaah Greentiger - that takes me back, I love clootie dumpling and haven't even seen one for 20 years! The old lady who lived upstairs from us used to make one and it would be steaming over a huge pot in her kitchen for hours. We knew here was a big event happening then!!
