Have any of you got the magazine? Want to make the lamb korma, do you think I could fling everything in the slowcooker tomorrow? I've never cooked lamb before cause no one here likes it. I want to try it and being in a curry might not taste so strong. What do you think?

If you don't like lamb can you not swap it with beef? It's an expensive meat to cook if you don't like it... (obviously this won't work if you don't like beef either though :o)

  • Evening All! hope youre all having a good week.

I got weighed this morning (I know I shouldn't have done it) and haven't lost anything. I know its only 3 days in, but Ive been really good :( The only thing Im worrying about is my healthy B's. Im doing the green plan as Im veggie, and Im struggling to eat them. I started having porridge 30g to use one up, but Im worried that its stopping me losing. Im trying to avoid wheat as it gives me a bad stomach, so other than rice crispies, there isn't a lot of option.

Does anyone else find this? Is porridge ok? heeeeelllllllppppppp xx

Thanks Shala, was just thinking that sitting in the car waiting for DD, lol Beef would work in a curry. I'm so dim sometimes. We always have chicken curry and steak pie, so never thought about in a curry. I think I'll play it save.

Blimey, I don't know how you had room for afters!! I enjoyed it but think I would lose the thyme if I made it again, and you're right, it misses a little bit of something else in it. I saw a recipe online that suggested bacon... but we are veggie so not immediately thinking of what I could replace that with!

Porridge is definitely fine as an HEB. I usually have my second as bread but there are dried or cooked fruit options or nuts and seeds. There's also a list of soups that count as an HEB in the book.

There's at least one person on here who can't eat wheat, they might have some other ideas for you.
