Matron Midge - I loved that programme about Liberty as well! Great news its coming back. I will go to it at some stage its on my list!

Not the best start to the morning, just scoffed 4 slices of toast. But didn't eat much the last two days so hoping it will counteract!

Lunch is Leftover Chicken Curry & I have beef I need to do something with tonight.

I'm really hoping for a loss this week - I really need to get one to get me back on track again.

Step or gym tonight - can't decide which but one of them is getting done.

Roll on the weekend I am doing nothing this weekend and really looking forward to it having been out the last two!

Feeling dumb. Just hit me that WI means weigh in, not women's institute. I thought some of the weight gains were because of trying everybody's homemade jam and cakes at WI meetings :rotfl:

You have just made me laugh pastmysellby :rotfl::rotfl:

I do things like you and when I realise what they really mean I feel :o:D

Sorry folk are putting on unwanted lbs :(

Hope my scales don't say the same on Thursday I am on a mission to lose 2 stone before Christmas :D:D

    Morning all

I'm hopeful to get away with a small loss or maintain when I weigh later...... Not sure though.

I've had a good breakfast today, 2 boiled eggs and a piece of HEB bread then fat free natural yogurt and HEB cereal.

It goes a bit pear shaped after that though and I've been on the online food diary and entered what I think I will eat today and the syn total is approaching 42 syns. Hmmm.....

As its weight in day today and I've not had a very good week, I don't really have the motivate to "rein in" but I can see thinking about my menu today and thinking about my menu for yesterday where I'm going wrong.

I hope everyone has a good day x

We instead are going to visit my family, probably for two weeks, where food is always in front of you and if you are not eating, you must be feeling ill!!!!!!!!

Hi, can I join you guys? :hello:

Started SW yesterday (doing it with my OH on our own) and hoping to lose 2 stone. OH has lost 6.5 stone just by healthy eating but has stalled and found she was eating less and less, so she has decided to do this with some exercise to lose some more weight. I didn't want her to be alone in this, so decided to join her.

Have bought some books off fleabay so just winging it until they arrive! Had my first bowl of porridge HEXB and HEXA, without sugar today, but added some berries. Am I right in assuming frozen berries are free even though they go all mushy when thawing out?

  • Morning everyone! Thank you for the kind welcome :) I've changed my mind about going to the bonfire (it's freezing and forecast to rain and I'm a whimp!) so will be getting weighed tomorrow as usual after all.

This is what's on the menu for me today:
Breakfast - Overnight oats with grated apple (HEB)
Lunch - Left over lamb tagine (2.5 syns) with cous cous
Dinner - Steak with cheese topped stuffed peppers (HEA)
Snacks - Banana, 2 plums, packet of Skips (4syns) and maybe a Dime bar (7.5 syns).

Well done on sticking to plan for most of your holiday; and plenty of BM too!

Which Ryvita are you eating at 1 syn each - the lowest synned ones afaik are the Original and Dark Rye and they are 1.5 each; most of the flavoured ones are 2 syns each?

    Denise

    Not according to my app

    Ryvita, Crackerbread, Original 1 Syn

Yes they are free! Welcome and good luck! Your OH and I have lost the same amount of weight! It does get challenging towards the end. I'm 5 lb off target I think right now and it can be a struggle. I think that your body just gets used to it and I would suggest that she maybe tries completely different foods for a couple of weeks to see if that helps. Also exercise can stall weightloss as you build muscle and fluid surrounds your muscles etc. I've really found this !
