Well, "Top Bloke" has moved on to another woman it would appear.
Bit of a blow, but glad I found out his true colours before he met Top Boy etc.
So, I'm back on the wagon-ish, eating when I can.
Does anyone know the syns in an Asda Fresh Kitchen Chow Mein please?
Don't fancy anything but trying to force something down
If it's Chosen by You Chinese Chicken Chow Mein, chilled , 400g it's 14 syns for a pack. So sorry to hear the news but it seems he wasn't to be. Good that it didn't get as far as top boy.
Many congratulations mildredd n Miss Slinky and the loss.:T0 -
Wiz - 2 slices of Great White would be HEB + 2 or 4 syns a slice if not using as HEB. So not really much more than you would have been synning it at anyway - I think you usually syn it at 6 syns don't you?
With regard to the "pregnant" tummy I think it happens to most of us as we get older! I'm 62 and also have a tummy which I can't shift so even being a petite size 10 I still have to be careful what clothes I wear so that I can "hide" it!

Im 35 and have the pregnant tummy - and a size 10 on the bottom! Its my worst bit!! :eek:0 -
Topgirl!
I read once somewhere that that's men's way of coping with a breakup to rush start into another one so they don't have to deal with feelings and mourning it as such!
It has rebound written all over it!0 -
Hi everyone.
Well London was fabulous. The poppies were beautiful and very moving, the names of the fallen were being read out when we were there. I got my bauble in Liberty and was pleased to see they are making another channel 4 documentary about the store as I really enjoyed watching the last one. Food wise it was a bit of a disaster with a trip to pizza express and a Chinese buffet. I'm playing catch up again now but we did walk miles and miles whilst we were there so I live in hope of an STS at least.
Today's menu

Hi! :wave:Can I join the Slinky for Santa challenge please? A couple of weeks ago I set myself a target of losing 1.5 stone for Christmas and I've already managed to shift 6.5lb, so my aim will be a further 14.5lb by Christmas. (From looking at other people's posts I think I'm supposed to write that in big red font?! I'm not just trying to bellow at you all!). My usual SW class is a Wednesday night, but I'm going to a bonfire this week, so will be weighing in a a day early tomorrow night.0

I like this sausage casserole recipe.
http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/style/food/article66425.ece
It's more of an adult meal than the baked beans type sausage casseroles. I tweak mine to make it very low syn (just the sausages) and cheaper by using dried thyme, frozen leeks and some bacon all of which I have in store rather than buying in specially. Plus I quarter new potatoes and add them too. I've never use chorizo but a little wouldn't add too much to the syns. It makes loads and leftovers are very tasty even without sausages.
Thank you for the idea maman, I'll give that a go (although with veggie sausages).
The link goes to the Times site that I don't have a subscription to (you can see the ingredients but not how to cook it!) but I found one here

Hi everyone..
As always well done to losers and Miss Slinky Mildredd :T and hugs for all needing one x
The weekend has gone ok for me.. Feeling hopeful for a loss this week.. Fingers crossed!
Today has been poached eggs on spinach with toast (heb).. Veg soup for lunch and veggie curry for tea http://instagram.com/p/u8i4eOmjaS/
Have some pineapple for later with a muller..
No hea.. Will have to think what to have.. Drink black coffee so don't use it in drinks, usually use it for cereal / porridge.
Welcome to newcomers..
Good luck for WI's this week x0
