I used to use flickr regularly but for my other photography.. instagram is so easy to use if your phone supports the app.. can do all your tweaks and add filters before posting..
Mitch, I envy you being able to use flickr etc - I haven't a clue what these things are or what they do, and quite honestly I'm a bit scared to have a go in case I get into a real mess0 -
I just love looking at the food pics. I need to learn how to do it.:o
And being a member of the SF police I hugely approve of all those carrots mich.;)
I meant to comment on those carrots - I love carrots :drool:I love veg, always add extra to any recipe I do.. courgettes, spinach and carrots my faves at the minute.. do notice a lot of photos on the #slimmingworld instagram are a bit lacking in SF's..
I noticed that on some of the photos I looked at, I guess if they are still losing weight then it's fine, but I've tried to up my superfrees as that's where I went wrong the first time.
Love the photos by the way.. and Annie's :T:T
I need to look into the instagram app.. off I go to have a mooch!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

We went to Decatlon this afternoon to get balance bikes for kods and had dinner in Ikea. I don't think I did too badly with poached salmon (no sauce), carrots, three small boiled potatoes and a bowl of salad. I did have a little bit 'snack dressing' as the salmon was quite dry (it was not bad). And then we shared a bit of frozen yogurt too. At least we didn't end up in the McDonalds next door!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Thanks, everyone, for your commiserations and bad karma vibes.
I spoke to shop manager today. The pink slip they had is from last week. I saw the shop’s record of lost and found and there is nothing for the day I lost my purse. The assistant manager had been off the day I lost my purse, so she may have been remembering the purse from the previous week. The police said my purse had been found in the car park, had not been handed in by the shop. So I guess it was a dishonest member of the public who took the cash – it may even have been someone completely different who handed the purse into the police station. Oh well, back to using cards and carrying the minimum cash I can get by on.
b_e_g, thank goodness I didn’t have to do anything about my cards; that’s just awful to manage.
We usually have loads of guisers but last night we had none at all , so I have lots of stuff (none of which I fancy eating – except in an emergency) so of my 3 grandchildren will benefit. Don’t know why, but one grandson will not eat sweets at all, or chocolate/biscuits. His parents don’t know why either. He will eat birthday cake (not chocolate cake nor icing) occasionally. I wish I had his restraint!
Well done, lush.
Oh crabapple, so sorry you lost a filling – I hate going to the dentist. I had a reminder in a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment for a check up and I just can’t work myself up to making it.
Annie and mich, nom nom nom.
Shala, love the straight edges on 2 sides of the egg with– it looks so neat on the plate, lol. Thanks for the chart.
Didn’t follow my Saturday menu at all – and what I had was most def not SW friendly; just haven’t been in the mood. I’ll have to settle down now and plan next week and do an online shop (if I don’t go out I can’t lose anything ha ha).
Sunday (just Saturday’s menu carried over)
Breakfast: kippers
Lunch: Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce, salad

Thanks Maman for the Hairy Bikers recipe I shall do it but no chips I must have mash and roasties.
:D
The chips aren't mandatory:). I posted the recipe with the braised beef and gravy in mind. I've never done it with chips either. I've used it as a Sunday roast with roasties, parsnips and load of greens;). It's ideal on a day when you need to prepare something in advance as you can reheat it on the hob at the last minute. I'm also thinking I could experiment with using the ingredients to make gravy for sausage and mash or liver and onions where I'd normally use granules.
kim, you're very welcome. I hope you have a very supportive group and consultant but whatever we'll keep you on track in between. If you've got time, post your daily menus on here and we'll tell you how you're doing. And any questions, just ask.
So sorry to hear about the saga of your purse greentiger. Draw that line and get back in control.
Tonight's curry was a big success (thanks shala). I made it with sauce for 4 but meat for 2 so loads of sauce left to freeze for another day.0 -

I also hate the dentist and am a bit overdue for a checkup. Stupid thing is this filling is the one that has been in the least amount of time (about 18 months I think) as well, it feels like I put myself through it not that long ago and now I have to do it again.
Trying to think of the plus side - I've not dared eat any sweets or chocolate since it went and am going to think very carefully about anything that goes in my mouth! Plus it doesn't hurt which is a miracle, it's just sensitive to hot and cold.I joinedmy local slimming world today, can I join your thread for a bit of extra mid week support?
Welcome KimKim, we are always happy to have new SW members on the thread
