STS for me this week please Shala
Totally amazed as I thought I would put on loads this week with not planning and flying by the seat of my pants for most meals.
Will have to be really good this week incase it has yet to catch up so menu planning tomorrow morning before I go shopping - had planned to do it on Thursday whilst at home with DS2 but didn't get it done.
Congrats to those who have lost and good luck for next week for those who gained.
Hello to the newbies
Greentiger - sorry to hear about your purse. Strange how the shop knew it had been handed in and it had a lot of money in it but by the time you got it it had hardly anything?? Seems like someone in the shop knows the real story.

Welcome pastmysellby - :hello:
I feel for you greentiger - definitely needs further investigation. Last week ds 'lost' his new wallet (expensive pressie from gf a few days previous) and it contained leftover holiday money, his birthday cash, gift voucher, bank cards and driving lic. I wouldn't care he usually only ever has around a fiver in cash in his wallet as he pays by card for everything. Its not just the 'losing' thats the main thing its all the hassle of stopping cards, replacing licence etc. Hope you get answers very soon.
Only had two halloweeners tonight so have lots of treatsize Maltesers left - having a bag now with a cuppa - not too bad at about 5 syns (I think)
Have a good weekend everyone.

So sorry to hear your tale of woe greentiger. Sounds very fishy to me, I do hope you get to sort it out.:)
Loads of Halloween callers tonight but we're real Scrooges (can you be that other than at Christmas?). A lovely group of tots with their mums came when it was still light so I talked to them and gave mums a few pounds to share out but I'm afraid we ignored the teenagers that were still coming at 10 pm.
Away game tomorrow so my plan is to ensconce myself in the kitchen with the radio and do some batchcooking. SW of course;).0 -
Hi all
Laying on the sofa resting my aching muscles- I've walked 7 miles round the shops today!! From one end of Nottingham to the other and back. I've done a fair bit of walking these last few days- on Thursday I purchased everyone's Christmas presents in one go and made a start on wrapping them- I bought a few other little things on Friday (mostly for Mum and OH but I also bought for my step-niece) and am happy to announce they are now all wrapped!!
Can tell I've gained- I've been trying clothes on today and nothing fits without shapewearspent about half an hour trying stuff on in Jack Wills (my god their sizes are ridiculous) and the size 12 t-shirt and size 14 skinny sweatpants fitted but didnt give me the best shape! They look fine with my shapewear vest and new fleece lined hoodie from Primarni though. I bought a Christmas jumper from Lipsy which requires two lots of shapewear to make it look half decent
I hate wearing shapewear so I need to try harder I think!!!
Had gone up to extreme end of target range on Friday morning so did another syn free day, hope that plus the walking helps!!
B: HEXB Weetabix, 2 0%peach Activia, pint of NAS
L: packet of BM chicken chunks, mango chunks, bottle of Diet Coke
Snack: 4 hard boiled eggs, melon chunks and grapes, bottle of water
T: big jacket potato with HEXA laughing cow blue cheese, beans, tuna and salad. Satsuma. Bottle of water
S: 4 Linda McCartney red onion sausages, apple, pint of NAS.
Body magic: 7.4 miles walking
Hope everyone's doing ok. Greentiger, sorry to hear about your purse- there's some despicable people out there x*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
morning all,
have cancelled my morning plans as I'm fed up with the state of the house since I went back to work I haven't even squeezed in chance to iron a couple of things at a time! It's really got on top of me so I figure if I can blitz and deep clean today then its just a case of the washing up, a quick clean round (on a weekend) and ironing when stuff is dry and actually making sure stuff gets put away so I have my parents calling up for a few hours to help (dad will iron, mum will watch wonder bairn) then this afternoon bf and I are going to go out to pick up nephews Christmas present then we are going to attack the hallway cupboards and be really ruthless so I'm going to try and get a few bits sorted before bf gets home!
Since I got my new scales yesterday I figured I'd weigh in as Friday will be easiest (most of our big stuff happens on weekends so this way I'll have at least 4/5days to recover if I slip!
...so pleased to report my first loss of the Slinky for Santa challenge is 2lb! (I'm another 1lb lighter this morning but that's probably just the difference in morning vs evening weigh in)
It's 'date' night tonight which is bf's cheat night so not sure what the plan is other than the usual Saturday night tv but I'm expecting a take away of some sort! Will be on plan the rest of the day though; tomorrow will be similar as we have an evening basketball game in Manchester so tea probably won't be very SW friendly!
Today:
Omelette for breakfast with a cuppa
satsuma elevensies
I'm think dahl for lunch (no rice as I'm lazy)
tea is undecided
Wonder bairn has fallen asleep before her breakfast having had me up since 5 so I'm going to try and get a few little bits done before my parents arrive************************************

So sorry to hear about your lost purse greentiger - you must go back to the shop and find out what's going on. They must have a record as you were told that the purse had been found with the money in it and that it had been passed on to the police; as others have said someone knows what's happened to your money.
DH is at work on a job and finish so not sure what time he'll be home. I'm hoping he'll phone shortly to let me know then I'll know whether to wait for him for breakfast.
Having another EE day:
B - Bacon, egg, mushrooms. Don't think I'll have beans as well today!
L - LO sausage, bean & chorizo stew, may make some mash
D - Going out for a carvery - started out being 4 of us (me, DH, DD1 & DGD as it's both their birthdays tomorrow) - it's now ended up with 8 of us going and I'm paying.
Definitely only 1 drink each with dinner:rotfl:. If they want any more they can either pay themselves or wait until we get home; which is probably the better option as at least 2 of them are going to have to drive.
HEA - milk in teas throughout the day
HEB - not sure yet
Syns - 1 for stew; weekend wine ? Probably one with dinner and one when we get home.

Morning
Greentiger, hope you get it resolved.. I am sending out bad karma vibes to whoever thought it was ok to steal someone else's money... Vile, vile creatures
Maman, we don't do Halloween either..however, we didn't have anyone call in at all, I think it's because we live on a main road rather than an estate. I'm glad we didn't buy any sweets, I'm afraid i wouldn't have been able to resist "just one"
Today is a green day for me...
b - banana
L - jacket potato, salad, cheese (hea)
T- LM Rosemary sausages, potato hash (pots, onions), egg, toast (HEB)
S - milk in tea (hea) crisps 4, nuts or ryvita for 2nd hebMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Hiya, pastmysellby
Ooh, Annie, that looks tasty! Great news re nomination.
Well, I’m now down in the dumps.
After turning the house upside down this morning, I realised I’d lost my purse. I’d not needed it on Wednesday (lunch out was my friend’s turn to pay) and I wasn’t out yesterday. So I worked out I’d last had it in Home Bargains on Tuesday afternoon. Gave them a call, yes it had been handed in and there was quite a lot of money in it. There was about £80 in notes plus change – I get £100 out at a time to limit my spending, so that was a pleasant surprise. They’d passed it on to police she said. So I phoned them, yes they had it there. I went to get it – and it had £1.20 in it! I was sick – it was worse than if it had been handed in to shop empty. At least my bank cards were there. Went back to shop, but they couldn’t find the pink copy from the police and there was no record in the shop’s log. So – either someone from shop pocketed it before it got to the police, or the police took it themselves. Either way, it’s left a rotten feeling behind. I’m going to talk to shop manager tomorrow. Not holding out much hope of solving the puzzle. Thing is, if someone had handed it in with the cash, they deserve a reward. Now they won’t get one.
Rant over.
Breakfast: as planned
Lunch out: potted salmon, mayo, wholemeal bread, salad, chicken korma & boiled rice, watermelon & feta cheese –could have been worse, I suppose
Dinner: none – feeling rotten
Waiting for guisers now.
Saturday menu:
Breakfast: kippers
Lunch: batchelors Past ‘n’ Sauce, salad
Dinner: roast chicken leg, veg, potatoes
Night all. May the sun rise on a brighter day!
That is awful greentiger hope you find out who stole your money :mad:0 -
Was disappointed not to get any little trick or treaters last night as I love to see them, apparently they were told at school not to go bothering the old folk in the bungalows as there had been complaints last year, believe me some of the old dears around me complain about anything, all day, every day and twice on Sundays. Rotten spoilsports.
Anyway am needing to take quick action to get rid of these sweets in the interest of my newly discovered hip bones. Decided to repack in Christmas stockings and drop them in at church sale which is on this
afternoon.Slimming World at target0
