Sorry greentiger, that is awful. Definitely hassle the shop - it's far more likely that the money went astray there. Horrid person whoever took it :(

    Well done lush :T

I've been chopping veg in between dealing with the munchkins this morning. Going to make 2 cottage pies. Loads of veg and quorn mince in the base and a swede, potato and sweet potato topping. MIL is coming over so we'll probably eat one for lunch and the other will be for the freezer.

Shala - checking in with -0.5lb this week (not much, but better off than on :D)!

Greentiger - some people are just horrible & have no thought for others, I'm sure if they thought for 2 seconds how they would have felt if it happened to them they wouldn't have been so dishonest. I hope you can get it looked into and hopefully get the money back.

mich_city - your southern style jambalaya looks lush. Love food pictures!

gbatey - A year supply of Lindt chocs - wow *nomnomnom*! Nice idea to include them as Christmas pressies.

:T:T to all losers & stick at it STS & gainers!

Lots of talk about Christmas on here this morning.:xmassmile I've done nothing yet. Not that I do a great deal of present buying. I won't go into a Scrooge rant but I see so much 'stuff' around. Brilliant idea with rehoming the sweets meg.

Well done on your shopping marathon MrsR. It was the idea of having to buy magic knickers that really got me going on SW. I seemed to spend so much time trying to work out how to disguise the fact that I was fat that eventually I had the LBM that losing weight was the answer!:rotfl:I'm still trying to find one of the party dresses in this month's magazine. It's not appearing on line, I'll have to drive over to big M&S and look.

:T on you 2lbs lush. We try to have a pub/takeaway type meal if we're at home on a Saturday. I have some Indian and Chinese in the freezer but they're staying there until I'm right at the bottom of target range. So tonight will be syn free curry. When you say BF's cheat, do you mean he's supposed to be cooking?

Have a good time at the carvery denise. I find them one of the easier meals out on SW provided you go easy on the roasties and I always try to refuse the massive Yorkshires. One thing I love is that it's so easy to pile on the SFs.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, HEA milk
L: either soup or a JP with cottage cheese and pickles
D: chicken curry (will add onions, peppers and mushrooms), SW chips, rice
Syns: squirt of HP, half a syn for pilau rice and weekend wine:j

Hi all!!!! Lots of chat here, I tried to read through what I missed since Thursday. Well done on all the losses!!!!!

So I went out with the colleagues on thrusday night, expecting to have a pizza, but there was not pizza at the place!!!!!! They had 'Flammkuchen', which is a bit similar to pizza, super thin pastry (imagine paper thin, literally) with a bit of creamy sauce spread thinly, and then traditionally has bacon and onion on, but I had mine with mince meat. I guess it was a bit more SW friendly than usual pizza. I had a good day yesterday, more or less... We did go trick and treat with kids, but only visited a few houses, and I resisted most sweets, had a couple of gummi bears, and a small bit of huge kinder egg I got for my children. Menu from yesterday:

    B: eggs, slice of bread
L: pea and ham soup (rather little peas in it as OH forgot to buy more and it was very watery), quark and yogurt with dried fruit, finn crisp
D: Roast port with lots of beans and carrots, salad.

I know I had a bit too much HexB, so some of that should be synned.

    Today:
B: Quark and yogurt with berries, a smice of bread
L: OH could not resist roast chicken, so we had that followed by a huge portion of red cabbage
D: Probably salad or some more quark and fruit for me.

Synns: A had a pastry, which is a bit like donut with pieces pof apple, I expect it would have a lot of syns in it, but it was lovely!

I had a sneak preview on the scales this morning, and... I am 2.5lb down since Tuesday!!!! I need to be good and not venture too far off the plan - hope not to spoil this by Tuesday!!!!!!

Cottage pie was lovely and full of superfrees :)

MIL brought chocolate biscuits with her as a pressie. Decided to just have one... then ended up eating a second. Eating the second one I found a hard bit and located it - thought that looks like a filling. Yep, I've lost a filling :(

Maman - I chose the carvery for the meal as DD2 is also doing SW and still has a way to go so really wanted to help her stay more or less on plan. The meal is a Happy Birthday for DD1 and DGD for tomorrow but the carvery is much cheaper tonight than tomorrow:money: especially as there are 7 of us in total (was to have been 8 but DGD split up with boyfriend last night! Still will save me a bit.)

Was talking to DD2 this morning and she said she was glad I'd chosen the carvery rather than going to Pizza Hut or something which DGD would have preferred but there are far more adults than kids - although DGD isn't a kid it's her 16th birthday tomorrow.

DH and I are also going to meet DD1's new boyfriend.

We've started the Christmas shop this week; I only buy for my parents (joint present this year) and my brother plus bf and wonder bairn. On his side we buy for his parents, 2 brothers, gr of middle brother, their two kids...we used to buy for his grandparents too but they no longer do Christmas so we've just done them a little photo album full of pics of wonder bairn :) Wonder bairn we are sorting together and have her man gift just need some clothes really and stocking fillers - bf I have no idea as yet!

In our house there's only one day a week where bf can have a day off his protein heavy, rather fussy/full on GB nutrition plan so we have that on a Saturday night, and only one meal rather than a full day :)

It's niece's bf next Friday and bf's on the following Monday but seeing as his brother and his gf never ask what we/I have planned for Paul we have ended up having to fall in with them as otherwise noone would be able to come for bf's with it being so close :( but we are going to the local carvery and bf and I are always so pogged we can't imagine a dessert so that's a positive...I do love carveries - roasts are my favourite!

Today I have cleaned the bathroom, kitchen (all bar sorting the three cupboards!) vacuumed through and put the clean clothes away! Then we went out and got a new baby carrier for bf to use and he got himself a new console with the money he got from selling some shares in Game that they gave him :) now time to just relax I think!
