  • Week 1 - Slinky For Santa Challenge - 4lbs loss and SOTM :j and ...........

I got my 4.5st shiney

Totally unexpected that one but not going to argue with the scales this time. :D

Having little celebration supper tonight when DS comes in from work - Lidl white cheesy bun filled with pulled pork and McCain low fat chips - no sf please note :p and then I think there might be a little bit of choccie/choccie biscuit to finish off with.

Hope you all have a fab SW week.

have done those cheesy fries.. awesome.. thanks for the reminder!

I take photos of most of my meals.. have started putting them on instagram.. http://instagram.com/mich6611 follow other SW people, have seen some great ideas to try for meals..

Loved looking at your pics mich - 2 questions - is the chocshot worth the money? I've seen a couple of other people using it and it looks nice

Also where did you get your heart bowl, a consultant on Faceb00k uses one - were they a give away or something with SW or did you buy them?

Oh and your cheesy fries looked much nicer than mine, but you cheated because you used all the ingredients :rotfl::p

:j:T:j:T amazing start to your challenge.. hope you don't show us all up :o

So todays experimenting went a bit awry :( cauliflower pizza was vile _pale_ so didn't eat it, luckily I tasted the base before wasting any more ingredients, so I had pizza toast and carrot and beetrrot salad instead :T used the syns I would have used on a packet of crisps :D

    Pics of my meals today..

Off for an early night, got all my food ready for work in the morning, so should be set.. :T

Last day tomorrow to get your final weight results on the board for the Autumn challenge.. i'll post it about 7ish so anytime before then would be great, thanks!!!

this lady on instagram posts some fab meals.. love her idea of using sausages cut up as soldiers in a dippy egg :)http://instagram.com/slimmingpats

:T:T well done both. excellent start to Slinky Santa b-e-g.

Yes, I've been having problems with the forum too. Hopefully it's all sorted now.

Good to see you nessie. Could your DH manage sausage and mash with perhaps fried onions and carrots? I always soften the onions in the microwave then they fry quickly with the sausages. He could cook the potatoes and carrots together in one saucepan. Or if he can master SW chips you could have egg, chips and beans. Another way would be to get him prepping all the ingredients for SW Bolognese and chilli and do some batch cooking for the freezer at the weekend to use in the week. If he could learn to follow a recipe you could let him loose on the magazines!
  • Well done BEG:D & Ettenna flying start! Flat Eric - I am right there with you not sticking to plan 100% Nasty cycle of "why bother". When I know that when I DO bother I make a big diff.

Haven't had much chance to report in this week. Saturday WI -0.5lb Lost track of where I am on weeks too SHALA sorry.

Eldest is working toward a brownie badge that requires some food planning - so she put together a really good -considerate meal for us all last night. Made "Jacket Potatoes" look incredibly posh!

    ... completed day 1 of week 6 on C25K.

I did the C25K over the summer and reached the week 9, and was amazed I could run for the 30min (and not 5km...). Ok, my speed was equal to the turtle, or maye a snail, but nevertheless, I ran for the showle 30 min. Right after I restarted the program, but this time I told myself to run as fast as I can, but then with the holidays, the weather ans so on, I stopped after 3-4 runs. Maybe I should pick it up once this cough clears and before snow arrives here...

Well done to you and all the others - great losses here!!!!!

And know it is my turn to slow you all down - STS here this morning. I did not expect much of a loos this week anyway, with the cakes, and being ill (so jar of honey is nearly gone in a week), so I am happy with that. But I need to get on with it, as I have a mental goal for our holidays and that is 3kg (6.6lb) away and 3 weeks away. I am not a big loser, so need to stick to the rules to get some weight off!!!! I know it is doable!!!

Breakfast today was 2 magic pancakes (all that was left after we packed off the kids to the nursery - they need to bring their own breakfast, and OH had the rest on the way out to his course), banana

Lunch: Salad and some miso soup

Dinner: have got a gammon in the fridge, so will be looking what to make, maybe simply gammon and sauerkraut or red cabbage I have in the fridge too..

Snacks: apples, 12 raisin wheats (so counting them as HexB). HexA will be some milk or a quark with raspberries if I manage to get some in Aldi.

ginvzt - Quark isn't HEA it's free if it's the natural one. The flavoured ones are low syn - can't remember value offhand but think it's about 2 for the lemon one. So definitely have some milk for your HEA, or maybe a bit of cheese.

    Today's plan is EE again:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; banana
L - cold meat & salad with FF French style dressing
D - lamb tagine with couscous

    HEA - milk
    HEB - toast

Had too many syns yesterday so hoping to stay very low syn today, perhaps a fruit split this evening and nothing else!
