Good morning!! Crabapple - you are not the only one with early riser - my son has been calling us since 5am too, which I decided to ignore this morning, and he was staying in his room without too much shouting and not waking up his sister. But then at about 5:45 my husband decided to go in and that is when my son went off.... OH left him in his room, so piglet decided to climb on top his cot (they have bars removed so it is like a toddler bed and they have free access in and out) and play with baby monitor, switching on the music and later on the paging function (so my bedroom was being lighted up by the monitor and no chance staying in bed as it was beeping loudly), then whent on to play with the light projector on the floor. It was about 6am, and I decided to go in, and of course with all this havock he woke up his sister. So that was it for the sleep for everyone.
I am still suffering very much with the cough, have no idea how to get rid of it. But since no fever and feeling ok-ish otherwise, decided I better go to work.
I had a not so good few days with being not well and drinking hot water with lemon and honey all day long, along with few extra slices of toast and jam (and discovered than Finn Crisp thins are fantastic with a thinnest smear of apricot jam...). It was Pumpkin sunday in our little town yesterday and we went there, and tried to be good by having pumpkin soup instead of usual sausage and chips that others had, and for desert decided that a waffle for 1 euro (the one made out of 5 little hearts) is better deal than crepe for 2 euros, so got one of those and we shared it between four of us! Before I joined you here I probably would have had the waffle to myself and a crepe... Along with the sausage and chips.
So, WI tomorrowo, will try to be very good today. I know I was not thinking this week would be much of a loss anyway, but it would be great not to put any back! The sneak-preview this morning showed 100g less than at last WI, so there is hope...
B: Porridge
L: Salad, quark bakeSomething light, hopefully, maybe just another salad with some eggs or tuna. There is nothing ready to make in the fridge, so unless OH stops over for shopping, it is pasta, rice or some other quick staple food only.

Had a good weekend away but rather too many syns - and not just weekend wine!!! I'm left with 6 syns a day from now until Wednesday so should be doable.
Cooked a rabbit stew in the SC last night so need to portion that up this morning - hoping to get 3 meals for me and DH from it! The first one will be dinner tomorrow night.
Today is EE:
B - porridge made with water, Mullerlight Vanilla & banana
L - mushroom omlette
D - Lamb Tagine with couscous - 3.5 syns
HEA will be milk throughout the day in tea
HEB - porridge
Syns - 3.5 for tagine

Hi all. Been MIA again for a while now so just popping in to read up the last page or two.
This recipe really is lovely, though you may have to use rather more than two forks to break it up. The liquid comes from the joint I think, but it's definitely not dry so don't worry. The first time I made it, I found that it wouldn't break up easily so I took it out, chopped it and put it back and it fell apart beautifully after the allotted cooking time.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Meg72 – Ghost walk sounded like fun!! I hope you enjoyed. It is difficult to know where to set your target I've been wondering about that now for months and would have been at it back in July if I hadn't messed about wondering how low to go. I don't think its at all right that if you set your target you have to change it to being a fully 7 lbs beneath if you want to change it when you get there - but then that's just me!
Crabapple – I can’t cook a decent fried egg to save my life – even when I used to use oil I wrecked it. I got one of those ceracraft pans - a cheapo version and it worked for a while. I would say the real deal would cook a great fried egg if you are willing to investigate in a new pan. I’ll have to wait and see what Santa brings lol Oh I see Blue eyed Girl can confirm!!
Shala – Cheesey Chili Fries - More info please??
Great idea of photographing meals!! I think I might start this also. So now that’s my meals to photograph as well as my belly!!! And you are not a fatty!!! Just challenged by food and weight like myself !! Thanks for the chart - again!! :T
Shocking weekend food wise. Well since Thursday I've been shocking. I was at a ball on Saturday night - had a 3 course meal with wine and cocktails - neither of which I touch anymore! But sure when in Rome & all that.
Feeling very bloated and rubbish today. Need to get my head sorted and find my motivation to get back on this properly. I am being good during the week and then being very bad all weekend and I need to break the habit!!! It might be ok for maintaining or hovering about but I need to get this 5 lbs off to get to target long before Christmas !!! Probably more now after the weekends vices!
Aside from the fact that there needs to be an end to this story lol and I need to reach target for my own sanity I really need the £5 going into my pocket at the minute. I also need to get down before Christmas so I have a little breathing space then.
Having strong words with myself here!!
Anyway I will and can do this!!!
Maman, Denise ? Anyone else you has been at target for a while, how do you find maintaining is different to losing?? I am finding that everything has lost its appeal for me - in that it all used to be exciting going into class and getting loses and now as they have slowed down and obviously I'm not going to get the big losses anymore I don't seem to be as interested. How do you stay motivated? Keep things interesting? Thanks I used to be really excited going to class and look forward to it lol now I hate Thursdays lol and the build up to it - everything about it eating light on a Thursday not drinking fluids after lunch time etc. If I could go back I would eat and drink as normal on a Thursday but I feel I can't change it now!
Today looks like this
(Not much going on really) but I have been very very bad and I hang my head in shame !!. Thankfully there is no chocolate or crisps in the house and I will not be buying anymore chocolate for a long time lol
B: Banana
L: HM Butternut Squash Soup (there is spuds in it so I will not die lol)HM Butternut Squash Soup
Snacks: Kiwi's, WW Yogurt
Exercise - 45 mins Cardio & 30 mins CX Works (what I call my flat tummy class)

Keep looking at those ceracraft pans.. Might invest in one!
If you do buy a ceramic pan, please don't use Frylight in it, they're too expensive to spoil but Frylight will spoil it quite quickly - my friend has said she'll never use it again after it did for her new pansI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

what do you mean? I have a ceramic pan and although there is no frylight in this country to be found, so we use oil or spray oil, but they seem to be ok. Is there some secret ingredient in frylight that does the damage?Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Lantanna - definitely different maintaining to losing! I find it much more difficult to maintain. When I was losing I stuck to plan probably 95% -100% of the time but I was a slow loser - only ever lost 0.5 or 1lb a week. However, unless you want to carry on for the rest of your life eating light on Thursdays and not drinking fluids in the afternoon you ought to think about "eating normally" on Thursdays. You may have a gain the first week but after that you'll again be weighing in a "like for like" way.
The only way I can maintain is by trying to stick to plan during the week and having extra syns over the weekend (ie weekend wine!!!). I have to make sure I have at least 105 syns a week, any less and I tend to gain - how does that happen? I'm eating less and end up gaining. Presumably my body quickly going into "starvation mode" - at least that always seems to be the answer.
If you read my posts on a Sunday or Monday (depending on whether I've been away or not) I invariably start with I've had X amount of syns over the weekend so am left with about 5 or 6 syns a day from Mon-Wed :rotfl:. So you can see I usually have most of my syns at the weekend and a few each day in the week. It seems to work for me.
It seems to me that Maman works in a similar kind of way!
I have no idea how I keep my motivation going but I think it's probably because I don't stick 100% to plan now but I do think it is important to plan your menus. I actually plan a month at a time (doesn't mean I stick to it for the whole month though!) - life gets in the way and things have to change from time to time.
In fact that's why I came back on because my menu for today has had to change! It was going to be lamb tagine tonight and rabbit stew tomorrow night but that is now round the other way because I forgot to marinade the lamb last night!
Because of that I'll have to have a think about what syns I'll have because there are 3.5 in the tagine but none in the stew.
Sorry for such a long post - I'm not sure it'll help you but hope it helps a bit.
