I am looking forward to a relaxing evening with may be a glass of wine. I am having chinese for tea so noodles from m&$ which last time I looked were free, teriyaki beef (plus a sauce) which won't be free, stir fry veg and a breaded chicken piece which I will have to syn too. Forgot the prawn crackers. Oh well. have an enjoyable evening all xxx

oh before I go - does anyone use molton brown? it was one of the deals of the week in b00ts today. was a bit tempted but was still very expensive.

M&S dried noodles are free but, as you say, hope the rest was good!;)

I like Molton Brown. Very pleased with their handwash and body lotions but definitely treat status or a nice gift.

Thanks for the curry info and the pic shala. I'll have to look up the recipe because I like a good tomatoey sauce. Were those bhajis I saw on the side?

Thanks Maman its not that I would mind resetting and 9.7lb would be lovely its just that I never dreamed I would do it, I am going to see if I can maintain so as to save the fee until after Christmas, then I think I will reset as I really want to tackle not smoking in the new year and I just know I will put on weight then.

    Hope your team wins.

That's a good plan to wait until after Christmas. Not just for the money saved but Christmas is hard enough to maintain without dropping half a stone as well.

And my team did win!!! We're now 2nd in the Premier League.:j
Unfortunately I forgot to post my mandatory half a Crunchie at half time and tonight I've had an Alpen Light and a couple of squares of chocolate to add to my syns.:(

Morning all. I am off to York this morning, got my mulerlights. laughing cows, ryvita and a bag of fruit, am going to try really hard to make good choices and not put any weight on. Going on a Ghost walk which I am really looking forward to, have tried twice before for this but was cancelled both times.

  • Must be good today. I've just been rubbish since coming back off holiday and I have a huge target to aim for for the Slinky challenge so I really need to get myself sorted.

    Work always interferes too.

After work tonight I'm gonna do some meal planning, today will be Sunday lunch before work (no breakfast, too much to drink last night and can't face any). Not sure what to have after work. To tired to think at the mo (had a good night tho, lots of dancing for bodymagic!). Only working 1 till 5 today so not too bad.

Ohh and forgot to say, have started doing a little bit of exercise like I said. Its all gotta help!

    CP xx

    Morning all..

Enjoy York Meg.. We did the ghost walk last time we were there, it was cold but fun! Hope it doesn't get cancelled again!

Yes they were onion bhajis maman, but wouldn't recommend them. They were the chickpea version and really dry. I've tried making SW falafels before and find them really dry and crumbly and this was the same texture :( I'll type up the jalfrezi recipe for you later (when I get downstairs) if you don't find it in the meantime..

Today we are going for an extra easy day -
B - magic pancakes (HEB) banana, agave (1)
L - cheesy chilli fries (Hea)
T - lamb hotpot, carrots and green beans, gravy (2)
    S - crisps (4) satsumas, carrot sticks, milk 2.5

Had a proper hunger on me last night but managed to get by with an apple :D I feel cheated out of my usual snacking though :rotfl:

I have made a pact with OH that I will try more vegetables as I only really eat the sweet ones (carrot, bns etc) so tonight is the green beans experiment

Good luck everyone x hope you all stick to your plans x

    Morning all,

didn't get chance to hop on yesterday but it went something like this:
    breakfast: HeB toast plus banana
lunch: instant mash with 1/2 HeA cheese and gammon ham
tea: hm lasagne with a pile of salad and a slice of garlic bread. its 7.75 for the lasagne, so I'll call that 8 and 5 for the garlic bread
I ended up using a lot less cheese than expected on the lasagne, it actually only worked out to 1.5 HeA worth split between 6 portions(!) so I had a small amount of milk before bed too

    Today:
Breakfast: HeB bread plus 2 rashers extra lean bacon
lunch: I'm not sure yet, depends how hungry I am by then - either hm soup (free) or some leftover lasagne (8)
tea: sunday lunch; roast pork (free) with carrot and swede mash (no fats etc), roast potatoes (mini midweek roasties; just a couple but we'll call it 2), cabbage and a small yorkshire (3)

Bf was supposed to be home with us today but he got called last night to go to a GB talent camp to give the development team some more experienced players to train against so hes gone off there for the day but I'll still cook the roast seeing as he got the request after i had defrosted the joint!

ETA: had a bumper cooking session yesterday whilst making the lasagne; also made beef in ale (packed with veggies and only 2 syns per portion even having used a packet mix!) and leek and potato soup too

Thanks shala and thanks for your work with the challenge

Sneak peek on the scales this morning and I'm down 2lbs already with 3 days to go, maybe I've finally got out of the STS rut, hope so, would love 2.5 this is week as that would give me my 5 1/2 stone which has been elusive for weeks now.
Off for bike ride with hubby this morning, walk dog later on too.
    B. Fruit and yog
    L. Chicken rice and veggies
    D. Campfire stew
    Snacks fruit
Hex - milk in tea/ hifi bars
    Happy Sunday everyone
Please to say I slept for my extra hour :rotfl:
