shala I would like to aim for 7lbs to be slinky for Christmas.

I found my target for this current challenge and it was 10lbs and I have outdone that so I am pleased. I didn't join in for ages as I thought I had got the hang of things but I obviously still had lots to learn.:o

We are away for two weeks in November so I will try to eat sensibly while we are away. We are self catering but I know the temptation to eat out. We won't have wifi unless we are at DS1's apartment visiting so I will try to keep in touch with SW and here. Just over four weeks until we go away so I aim to lose at least another 4lbs by then.

    Todays food
B; HEB porridge with water and a splash of milk
    snack apple
    snack satsuma
    L: @ 3pm dynorod soup
D: roast chicken, dry roast potato and parsnip, carrots and steamed broccoli and gravy (HM) skimmed fat off and added 1tbsp cornflour and gravy browning. Shared between 4 (?3syns)

two very small glasses of red wine (9 syns)

bedtime decaf coffee with HEA milk and 0.5 tsp sugar
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    B. Yoghurt banana blueberries strawberries. Toast & jam. B +3

    L. Split pea and bacon soup.

Snack. Apple, 2 morning coffee 3 Syns

    D. Veg sausage 4 Syns mashed potato petits pois beetroot.

    Supper clementine.

    A milk B bread
    10 Syns

When you have days like this wiz, I'd be inclined to call them Green. I know you struggle with enough veg and you might as well have the extra HEXs.

Maman. How. Could I call it green when there's bacon in my soup?
But thanks for bring it to my notice.

Oh and Meg, did I get it wrong?

Sorry, I didn't explain that very well.:o I was assuming the bacon in soup wouldn't be much so you could have it as a HEB (up to 55g). Then you could have more milk or cheese. But my main reason was that there didn't seem to be many SFs.

When I make my ham & lentil soup, there's virtually no ham just the taste from the stock so I'm assuming yours is the same when yours is probably full of meat.:rotfl:

I have an online subscription to SW magazine. Plus points- it’s a wee bit cheaper and it’s easy to print any page, there’s no clutter (apart from what I print out). The only negative I find is that it’s not “real”, lol.

Pennies, just enjoy your time with your friends. There’ll be another wagon along in a moment.

    Commiserations to STSs or gainers.
Congratulations, just the two of us and (drum roll, trumpet fanfare) meg and SOW b_e_g

Kiwi, that health link is quite interesting – thanks for the link.

    Nice to meet you, Ettena.

Thanks for keeping our chart, Shala. I'm pleased to report that I LOST 2lbs! It's still a challenge fail however, so I must do better in slinky for Santa. I'll go for an 8lb target again, please

    Tuesday's Menu was
Breakfast: Smoked salmon & scrambled eggs with half hexb toast
Lunch: vegetable soup, half hexb bread, melon
Snack: wee toffee crisp (guessing 6 syns, unless anyone can put me straight)
Dinner: beef stew (from SW mag, but without doughballs), banana
Supper: 3 mini babybel light, grapes

    Night all. Good luck tomorrow.

I am a bit undecided for my menu today.

I am feeling fed up because it is the second morning I have woken at silly o clock and not been able to sleep and just watched the clock.

Yesterday it was 3am. This morning it was 4am. I gave up today at about 4.50am and decided to get up!

I think I might have a HEB option of porridge for breakfast. May be soup for lunch or jacket spud, salad, ham and cheese.

Not sure about tea as pit stop visiting on way home (so may be offered dinner/may be not).

I want a good week this week. I bought a countdown last week and I don't want to waste it.

I hope everyone has a good day xx
