That's brilliant wiz, so pleased for you. Plodding on is definitely paying off.

Welcome back lush. I wondered where you got to, assumed you were still off in your holiday home. It's never too much trouble to look up syns so ask away.:) Why don't you just weigh at the chemist every week? It would stop you hopping on too often (hope you heard that ginvzt;))

I think you did brilliantly with the comfort eating/drinking pooh It could have been far, far worse. I agree with others that your soup will be free. It doesn't seem very logical but it does seem to apply to fruit but not veg.

Strange lantanna that you can be shorter than me but a smaller size at the same weight. I'd call myself a size 12 but it does depend on the style. Odd????

Love your binder shala. It's motivated me to sort mine out. I need to cull some non SW recipes and add in some new ones.

You coped well with that KFC nightmare jock. Infuriating about the pepsi though. We all have 15 syns a day to play with. Many of us save them up in a weekly bank of 105 others have them daily. I keep almost all of mine for 'treats' but others incorporate them into recipes.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: cold chicken, fried veg
D: corned beef hash, cauli, broccoli
Syns: squirt of syrup and corned beef (been fancying this since denise had it one day last week).

Maman - yes I'm definitely a 10 on the bottom 100 % lol Who knows what way it works. I would say my boobs 36E contribute to my weight and my top half being a 12 :rotfl:

Veg is definitely still free mushed unless it is potatoes - if you are turning them into syn free crisps etc. Fruit is a different story

I'd just buy a packet of crisps personally - same goes for lasagne sheet crisps !! Odd

Mildredd has reclaimed the 5 stone woo hoo:T
  • Hi Maman *waves*
unfortunately I can't get to the usual chemist every week now unless i weigh in at Boots in town near work but they charge for the privilege!

    Thank you everyone:)

joedenise do you have a recipe for crustless quiche?

I usually make mine as vegetarian so that I can use on Red, Green or EE days but you can use anything you have in the fridge.

Fry off a selection of veg such as mushroom, onions, garlic, peppers etc and place into a dish - needs to have space to add egg mixture on top. If you're having a Red or EE day you can of course fry off some bacon as well. You could even add some cooked chicken if you have some to use up.

Beat a couple eggs and which with cottage cheese and then pour over the veg to cover and cook at about 180 for 25-30 minutes until the eggs are firm.

Cottage cheese is optional, although does give a bit of a cheesy taste. I often just use beaten egg with a splash of water (which I find helps to break down the white a bit).

Another version I particularly like on a Red or EE day is tuna and sweetcorn - I use a tin of tuna and 1/2 tin of sweetcorn spread over the dish and then covered with beaten egg and cook in the same way.

The quiches can be any flavour you like, just depends what you like and what you have available. Experiment with different flavours.

:Ton regaining your 5stone mildredd. I find it happens that way with socialising. Provided you get back on plan in between and perhaps save as many syns as you can you'll be fine. I'm a big fan of the scenic route.;)

My worry is that if you have perfectly normal fluctuation across the week and seem to have gained it will depress you.:)

Cheesy chicken & bacon bake is 11.5 so yours may be about the same lush.

I make frittata which is very similar to crustless quiche I've not tried adding cottage cheese but I do fry sliced potatoes (either LOs or tinned ones) in with the veg which makes it more substantial. I cook it on the hob like an omelette and then finish off under the grill (with a bit of grated cheese on top if you've got any HEA going begging).
