Shala I love your menu cards.
I have a month's menu plan on the fridge door but Mr P is no longer working. I was put last week, every day and he made his own versions of things. They were lovely and a lovely thought (except on day but more of that in a minute) but he made his own variant of my recipes.
One day the plan was for veggie chilli. Quite straight forward, usually. But, Mr P forgot he was cooking for two and cooked for about 20! He said there weren't enough ingredients on the fridge so he added extras.it tasted really sweet and I think it as because he put three cans baked beans in and then a whole huge Swede! I have blended it and added stock to make a soup. Still enough for about two weeks. What I would like to know is it a syn free soup now it is blended, please?
It contained baked beans, kidney beans, baked beans, carrot,Swede, leek, celery, chopped tomatoes and a carton of Aldi passatta.
I have STS this week too.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hm, I would love to know 'good' treats! Can we make a sort of list to help us choose wisely?
I used to have latte when I am out and about, or we have a sit down in a caffee, but now I am choosing the teas, which is much better, at least within SW!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
poohbear, when I used to go to the group, all the blended/smooth things were not free according to the consultant. It was something to do that you need to chew your food or something...
Hopefully someone can give you some better news!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Good morning, .....but it's almost dinner time and I have had my WI and I have lost 1lb it's better than nothing.
I only hope I don't go back again and put the 1lb back next week like I usually do.:(
I am keeping positive, and hope to keep on track. I hope everyone else is as happy and optimistic as me.:j:j:j.:T:T0 -

Difficult to say, I think sweets are pretty bad syn wise, i mean a titchy fudge bar is about 6.
I like
Bag of Flying Saucers 3.5
2 Ryvita/Scan Bran and 2 Laughing Cow Lite (5) - quite a lot but quite filling
Little kinder bar 3.5
Fat free yoghurt and a highlights sachet - 2
I get 15 syns so sometimes struggle to use them, I try and avoid just eating 30 haribos and try to have a bit of a dessert (usually the highlights thing) and a treat but use the rest as healthier syns.
The FFY and Highlights is the nicest pudding ever though, reminds me of the classic Chocolate Munch Bunch yoghurts of my youth.
The biggest struggle is using all the syns as anything tasty is at least five. So I struggle to find things that are 1 or 2.0 -
Ginvst I like a very occasional Chomp bar 51/2 synsbusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I've just checked on the main SW website and there are loads of free soup recipes on there that are blended but none have beans in so i'm not 100% sure but i would class it as free..poohbear, when I used to go to the group, all the blended/smooth things were not free according to the consultant. I thought this applied to fruit more than vegetables.. i think it's about the fibre, if you're eating the whole fruit/veg then there's more fibre in it than the juiced/mushed version.
Anyone make the dyno rod soup and class it as free? that has loads of beans in it...Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I like Caxton Pink and Whites - the two wafers with marshmallow in the middle. rather sweet and sticky so one is more than enough and only 2.5 syns each (last time I checked)************************************
