  • Wow, this thread is moving fast with such a lot to catch up on today. I've had one of those days; I went out for lunch and had a bit of a CBA day on the dinner, but thankfully not as many syns as it seemed and just realised I never had a HexB.

Thanks for your support, just back from hospital. Lovely consultant, we've known her for a long time and reassurance that things are ok with DD. Phew.

Now, I shall make an early lunch and enjoy it fully. Spicy Chicken salad, then I need to deal with a letter from the DWP who want to know what I worked and earned in 2001!! Luckily I've kept my P60s.

Tonight's tea will be sausages (Tesco low fat)
Not sure if I want mash or not, might make this a red day, I'll decide later

Hope work isn't too bad for you all.

Oh, I tried to make rice pudding last night, I now have a burnt pan, waiting to get scrubbed  so first attempt didn't go so well

Forgot to say, I took my SW magazine to read in the waiting room, some really good recipes in it, quite fancy the butternut squash risotto and the lamb korma. Not usually a big fan of lamb but I want to try it in a curry. The salads and the dressings in particular look really nice.

I also love the "what's new" section:
Asda sweet chilli chicken noodle salad bowl is only 11/2 syns, M&S count on us chipotle beef curry 2 syns. Good for something quick and warm and filling.

Hi , every time I use quote unlike everyone else's mine does't. Go green it stayed black and white.... Why ?
  • Well done on the losses :T

Sorry to hear about your DD, mumoftwo. Glad to hear that it's getting sorted.

I was feeling super duper lazy so came to this thread for inspiration. It worked! :D Going to get off my bum and go do a half hour walking workout (2 miles) from youtube. Seems much better than my previous plan - lounge around and have a snack :o

    EE today:

Breakfast: banana, plum, hifi salted caramel (HEB)
Lunch: keema curry with boiled rice, carrots, green pepper, cucumber, lettuce and sweetcorn.
Dinner: chicken tikka, SW cubed roast potatoes, carrots, peas, salad.

    Drinks: NAS squash, water.
Snacks: will have fruit throughout the day. No doubt I'll manage to fit syns in somewhere lol.

Do we have a SW meal pics thread? It would be nice to see what everyone's eating and how recipes turn out :)

    Helloooo everyone

I've read every post, but can't remember everyone's names to go with the stuff, so I hope you're all okay, and having great days and am glad the hospital trip went well, and that the little girl is okay :D

    Today: EE

Breakfast: Toast (heb) with scrape of flora light (1/2) & marmite
Lunch: Pasta salad - mackerel fillets (skin off), quark, onions, peppers, mushrooms, celery, sweetcorn, courgettes and some fat free french dressing mixed in with the quark (I thought this was all going to be disgusting - surprisingly yummy)
Snack: Fan wafer & two marshmallows (4)
Dinner: Chicken & king Prawn chow mein (hm) with baby corn, mange tout, water chestnuts, peppers, mushrooms, onions. Cooked in fry light but a bit of sesame oil added at end for flavour (2)
    Snack: Toffee ML yoghurt, banana

Extra snacks if I need them... seafood sticks nom nom :D

Pleased with that, that's a lot of veg in a day for me, tummy holding up so far and not screaming at me - all good :D

Wizkid in order for the quote to go green it needs to say this at the end [ / QUOTE ] (no spaces).

If you delete some, because you only want to quote a certain bit you are perhaps deleting the quote tag? If you delete it, just write it back in, as above but no spaces....

    Does that make sense? :rotfl:

Well done on your loss minihauk. You'll have much faster (and often better;)) feedback from here than from many consultants. We had a conversation on here about bananas the other week. They are SF but they're also one of the few fruits (grapes are another) that aren't speedy or superspeedy. That's not that you shouldn't have them but you should lose more with other fruits especially SS like most melon and grapefruit..

Thank you Maman. That is the sort of advice I need as I have been eating a banana a day just because they are easy to transport. Will hit them on the head for the rest of the week and see how I go because I am eating enough veg to sink a battleship!

Had a very long day at work yesterday, got home and ate dinner (minced beef with lots of superfree veg cooked in) and then sat looking at my hi fi bars. Three bars later I went to bed. Could have been worse - I hadn't had any syns all day so was only over by 3 and I cut back today...... I hope it works that way.
  • Hugs mumoftwo. Well done you for staying on plan while you have had such a worrying time. Hope dd is receiving help/treatment she needs. Look after yourself too. I spotted the asda chilli chicken (1.5 syns) will have to look out for it.

Bet you look stunning lantanna in your new suit. Go girl - knock 'em dead (well maybe not dead but you get my drift) ;)
