    Hello

    Congrats, kiwisaver

Maman, hope you had a better football experience than me!

Thanks, Shala, for the lovely chart. Unfortunately the football was awful and we lost 3-0 :(

    Saturday's menu

Breakfast: French toast, strawberries, raspberries and maple syrup (1 syn)
Lunch (en route to Dumfries, 'cos DH decided he was "starving"): white roll with ham salad - no idea of syns for roll, plus it had some sort of unidentifiable spread on it
Post match snack (because DH didn't want to wait until we got home): a slice of [STRIKE]delicious[/STRIKE] dreadful coconut & lime cake (well I needed cheering up, didn't I? Who am I kidding? If we'd won I'd have eaten it to celebrate!)
Dinner: half of a murgh sumundri (Chicken breast cooked in a special bhuna sauce including fresh ginger, garlic, tomatoes, onions, tomato puree touch of cream & sprinkling of fresh coriander) with boiled rice. I did not eat any of the garlic naan. :A

So, all in all, a disastrous day. :(

    Good luck tomorrow all.

Sorry your football team lost :(

Mine play Monday night so I will be watching them online :T

Your menu sounds lovely . I had mushy pea curry with extra veg for tea with a mullerlight toffee yoghurt :)

Does anyone know how to buy some slimming world books? I have a couple from my old days, but I would love to get 'Extra Easy Entertaining' and maybe few others...

OH and I have had a chat and we've decided we need the weigh-in fear so we're joining class again next week, not till Thursday though so got a bit of a wait, 9 weeks till Xmas then so hopefully i'll be able to lost that stone!!

I took everyone off that hasn't been here for a while as it was skewing our totals a bit.. but we've lost 11 stone 3 lbs..:j

I think that's a great idea shala. Good that you've got your OH onside to work with you. I like my Thursday WI. I always manage to stay on plan for rest of Thursday and Friday as that's usually when I do my meal plan and shop. Then have a fairly synful weekend and plenty of week leftover to rein it in. Works for me.:)

That's a brilliant total weightloss. We're doing ever so well!!:T

Our Aldi doesn't do sushi ginvzt, at least I don't think I've ever seen them there but I do think sushi in general is fairly low syn.

That is good then! And congratulations on the win!

B: kelloggs Toppas with raisins(I think they are called frosted wheats in the UK), grapes, rasperries, maybe will have some more fruit in a bit, as it seemed very little of cereal.
L & D: have a pack of lamb mince, so need to do something with that, the other thing will be the salad. Maybe some eggs in some form too

    Good morning

Sunday and a fresh start. Weighed myself and lost -1.5lb (of the 4lb I put on last week)Why is it so quick and easy to put on and such a b*gg*r to get off again?

Anyway, not going to dwell on it. I started my menu folder, someone on here posted about how they wrote meals on a card and the ingredients too. Thought that was a fantastic idea, so thank you!:T
I have used paper, a binder and poly pockets. Wrote the dish at the top, ingredients under it and have started to write the cooking method under it as well, thought it would be handy for my daughters, if they were inclined to cook (spag bol, like mum used to make, lol)

It's funny how I have been cooking for my family for 25 years and when I wrote down the dishes I make most frequent, only came up with about 30. I am sure there are more, different variations etc but it was quite hard to just write them down from memory.

Thanks for all the advice about online joining, I won't bother and just rely on google and you lovely peeps for syn values and support :kisses3:

Time for :coffee: and breakfast: bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and veg sausages red onion and sage, that should keep me going for a few hours

    Enjoy your Sunday

My day has started badly. I had just cooked myself a lovely full engish breakfast and went to put it on the table when a huge spider ran across the floor. Shrieked and turned quickly to get out the door, slipped and fell on my bum with my breakfast upturned in my lap. jumped up quickly. and ran into the lounge scattering bacon egg sausage beans tomato and mushrooms as I went. One hell of a mess to clean up.

Think my plan for the rest of the day might be Brandy, Brandy and more Brandy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
