Thanks, Denise, no not going to group, doing it myself but thinking about joining online as an early Christmas present to myself but not sure if I would get more support there than I already do here with you lovely peeps. Anyone love online?

Breakfast already changed, didn't fancy porridge after all. Had fried egg, mushrooms, tomato and mixed beans. Very filling and hearty.

Going to make dyno rod soup, I feel I need tasty filling, comfort food so no tuna salad for lunch. Still making burgers for tea so better get that mince out of the freezer.

mumoftwo i wouldn't bother joining online.

I joined for the 3 months and apart from getting the Healthy Eating information and sending WI every week I never used it. Waste of money in my eyes :(.

I have been doing it myself with the help of this lovely thread all the time but since my SW online ended 10th October I will continue to do it myself with the help of this thread :T

Hi everybody, I went MIA sorry lol!

I managed a 1.5 lb loss this week, which bearing in mind there was hospital (minor procedure) and recovery from hospital (lying on sofa thinking about eating chocolate) I'm pleased with :D

    Hope you're all okay?

I had a lovely kedgeree for lunch today, I'd made it a few weeks ago, froze it and just popped in microwave today for 2 minutes, it was lovely :D Nom...

I've never fancied this as I imagine it makes your teeth squeak - does it? :rotfl:
    Morning.
It was me that posted about those honey apples. I am addicted to them they are sooooooo nice.

I found some at Lid1 today - £1.99 for six.. thought i'd better add something into my trolley that looked healthy next to the gingerbread and marzipan bars.. :o maman's fault she reminded me about the marzipan!! tsk...

Shala - Lantanna shouts at me in email :'(

Well good, I wouldn't want you missing out :rotfl::rotfl:

I walked past a SW class this morning whilst in town and considered going in to re-join but chickened out.. don't know if I need to actually join a class again for the weigh-in fear to get me motivated or whether it will just be a waste of money :( as I feel uncomfortable in class.. but I like our consultant.

Might have a chat to OH later, he said a while ago he'd come back to class with me if I wanted to.. hmm decisions, decisions..

It would be my 5th time rejoining :o and i'd weigh in higher as it would be evening weigh in rather than morning

Anyway i'll stop rambling - i'm thinking out loud and you lot don't need to hear it :rotfl:

Great losses mupelle, lantanna - did I miss someone out?

Off to prepare tea.. KFC chicken, actifry fries, salad, corn and BBQ sauce

Anyone ever just turned up to a random club to get weighed? Can you do it and they see all the info?

Going to be on the Isle of Bute in Scotland next week and intend to stick to the diet so don't want to miss a weigh in.

I've turned up at random clubs for WI absolutely no problem. I'm in a city so loads of groups around to choose from. I admire your dedication jock.;) I'm assuming a holiday but perhaps it's a work trip.

I've not heard anyone praise online membership EVER. I'm pleased you're sticking around with us. Why don't you have a Success Express style week (or a couple of days) to try to boost your weightloss and give yourself a lift. Just up the SFs to two thirds. Or have a big push on Superspeedy stuff? Sometimes I think just trying something different is motivational but I don't think SW online is it.

Do you have a recipe for the kfc chicken shala?

    Hi BEG

It's not the slimming world one and has a lot of spices/herbs mixed with flour so it would be syns.. might try it with polenta instead of flour one day then it would be free..

    1tsp oregano
    1tsp chilli powder
    1tsp sage
    1tsp basil
    1tsp pepper
    1tsp salt
    2tbsp paprika
    1tsp onion salt
    1tsp garlic powder
    2tsp aromat (or msg)
    100g flour

Mix all ingredients together, coat your chicken in it, spray with frylight and bake in the oven.

half the mix covered 2 chicken breasts cut into strips so 4 syns for the flour?

I always thought dried polenta was free but unfortunately it's not, it's actually 4.5 syns for 25g.
