In my local chippy years ago you possibly would have had a 47 syn fish supper but over the last few years the portions have gotten smaller and smaller and the prices higher and higher so I would agree 27!!
Proper wintery here!
Can't wait to get weigh in over and done with and get home and get settled down for the night with something warm!!
Got given some free ball tickets today so get to dust my BM's dress on again next weekend - thank goodness I have something I know will fit and looks ok. My first reaction of course was oh no I can't go I have nothing to wear / or I won't be able to get anything to wear! Funny how that is still my automatic thought but lovely how its not true anymore I could get a new dress and look and feel nice in it and shopping for it wouldn't be an awful disaster and then all night spent feeling self conscious and horrible about myself and envious of others! Or else I would have turned it down to avoid shopping drama !
How times have changed !! As you would say Maman a non scale victory and has certainly put a little bounce in my step today : )0 -
So, it is not ravioli for dinner for me, but a boiled pig's ear (Ok, it is not a bad thing, as I love them, whoever gruesome it may sound to some). Will have salad on the side, and I had no syns yet today (aren't I good?
), so whatever fat is left in there, after boiling it for hours, will by my syns for then day...

1 lb loss for me Shala
Getting in to the 16 stone bracket eludes me once again
Not feeling confident for next week either as it is my wedding anniversary on Monday and be and OH are going on a mini cruise to Amsterdam.
Any suggestions of light weight, on plan food we can take with us that does not need A chilling or B heating up.
The food on the boat is super expensive for what it is so we will be taking food for Monday night, having breakfast Tuesday morning, day in Amsterdam then need something to eat Tuesday night. Breakfast Weds is sorted.
Hope you enjoy your anniversary break tazzy. DH and I have been wanting to try one of the mini cruises - he was hoping to go before Christmas but we are due to start bathroom renovation on Monday. Will have the plumbers etc in for at least two weeks then we will have flooring to sort and whatever decorating that needs to be done. So by the time we get sorted I think it will be too near Christmas and if we leave it until spring (April anniversary) I will hopefully fit into the cabin with a bit more room to spare and will probably end up on top bunk at DH has mobility problems. Anyway have a fab time.Well done on your loss too. :T
Well done to all the losers and stick with it to sts and gainers.
Cooked a couple of extra portions of Cola Chicken and Beef Hotpot and put them in freezer for a fall back for when the mayhem starts next week.
I think I recorded the programme re that pasta story - must make a point of watching it.
Good to see you popping back in Flat Eric. Re the Christmas Book - at our class anyone taking out 12 week countdown this week will collect their Christmas Book next week. First impressions of the copy I saw at class looked very nice indeed. Some lovely recipes on the calendar (free with latest mag) - pie made with REAL pastry (not a lot mind you). Good luck for staying on track tonight.

I soak the porridge in water for about 10-15 minutes making it a bit sloppy. Microwave for 2 minutes; stir through a Mullerlight - I usually use either vanilla or banana custard but you can use any you like - microwave for another 15 seconds just to warm the yoghurt a bit. I use a 900w microwave so if yours is a bit lower wattage you might need to do it a bit longer.
Serve with some fruit on top - I usually have banana because I keep forgetting to get any frozen fruit out of the freezer to defost!
