Fish & chips fronm the chippy is on average 27 syns so if shared equally you would have had 9 syns; even if you ate half you'd still be within syns.
Deniseplease-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Sorry to hijack the thread because I haven't posted here for a while, but my Consultant told us it is 47 syns for fish & chips.
If its 27 then great, if its 47 then I guess a little over isn't too bad. Could be worse. Could have ate the lot.
Thanks to everyone for all their get well wishes over the last few days. I can honestly say as the morning goes on I'm feeling much better
Gonna have a grilled pork loin for lunch i think....

That looks like a Green day kiwi, don't forget you can have extra HEXs. Hope you found British lion eggs for your quiche.;)
I thought as much after I wrote it down but never mind I had quite enough to eat already. No British Lion eggs for me, I don't suppose they would travel well.
I had the remains of red onion and courgette frittata for lunch today and whilst I found it tasted lovely, it looked really horrid. The red onion had gone that greyish colour and it took me a moment or two to figure out why it looked so bad. My dinner was a bit naughty as it was sourdough white bread - maybe just as well I can't be bothered to check and I don't have the means to figure out the syns,

Looks interesting ......
Cooled down pasta nad then reheated is the best for you, wow.
Actually, as I was growing (and living in my young days) back home, we would always cool down pasta after it has been boiled under the cold running water before adding to the pan with the sauce and heating in the frying pan. Mayeba that is one reason why my weight increased slowly and steadily as I moved in with OH (Italian, and running the cold water over the pasta once it was cooked was very frowned upon by him!)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Today I went to our marketing department to get some clothes (they have soft shell, fleeces and rain jackets), hoping I can get some stuff fo me for the autumn, just to discover that I cannot fit in any of the womens soft shells or rain jackets. I tried the XL in soft shell, but it was too small.... So, i got L in mens size, which does fit quite well. But I really want the rain jacket, it looked quite nice...
B: porridge, banana
L: savoury quark and then quark-yogurt-raspberry desert with FinnCrisp, as couldn't decide what else to have for lunch when I left home this morningn and was too lazy to make a salad...probably ravioli
Snacks: banana, apple, grapesSpring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
That link by Minihauk was interesting - especially as I'm having salad with cold pasta today!
Menu for yesterday:
B - Fruit and yoghurt
L - Ham salad plus salad cream (2.5)
D - Three low fat sausages (3), beans, 2 eggs fried in fry light
Snacks - Crackers x 2 (3), Muller light yoghurt, Snack A Jacks (4) (Caramel Snack A Jacks dipped in toffee Muller are divine!)
Total Syns: 12.50 -
1 lb loss for me Shala
Getting in to the 16 stone bracket eludes me once again
Not feeling confident for next week either as it is my wedding anniversary on Monday and be and OH are going on a mini cruise to Amsterdam.
Any suggestions of light weight, on plan food we can take with us that does not need A chilling or B heating up.
The food on the boat is super expensive for what it is so we will be taking food for Monday night, having breakfast Tuesday morning, day in Amsterdam then need something to eat Tuesday night. Breakfast Weds is sorted.0 -

Just checked on line and it's 17.5 for a standard portion of chips and 10 for standard portion of fish so it's 27.5. I suppose if you have a large fish & large chips it might be 47 - but not something I've ever bought or eaten (even pre SW).
I managed a STS this week so I'm happy with that as I did go over syns a bit this week.
Today's menu is EE:
B - banana after WI
L - LO corned beef hash with fried eggs
D - pork steak, potatoes, brocolli & peas
HEA - milk in teas throughout the day
HEB - not sure yet, may have some Ryvitas later
Syns - 2.5 for corned beef; may need to syn some butter later if I have the Ryvitas.
